Advantages: Gorgeous smell

After reading a review on the Avon naturals range, I was very pleased to see that the recent brochure had a special offer on the range. I decided to opt for the room and linen spray in black cherry and nutmeg as I had tried the black cherry shower gel and liked the scent.

The description:

The room and linen spray comes in a 125ml clear bottle. The spray inside is also clear. The bottle is basic with a picture of cherry and nutmeg on the front.

The instructions:

The instructions advise that the spray contains a bioseed complex with pure seed extracts known to nourish, soothe and protect. I'm not too sure how them properties are essential in a room and linen spray however. The bottle also advises to use, you must spray 2 to 3 times towards the centre of the room.

So, I am all dusted and hovered and ready. I follow the instructions and spray 2 to 3 times and I also spray onto the curtains and cushion covers in the living room. After a few seconds the scent was noticeable. It wasn't strong but very soft and refreshing. The cherry wasn't as sweet as some sprays but it was very calming and comfortable. I loved the smell so I decided to go ahead and spray the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom too.

After 10 minutes I had to leave the flat and I was only gone roughly about 15 minutes. When I arrived back I was excited to walk into a gorgeous smelling home but it didn't happen. Unfortunately I couldn't smell the spray at all. I was a tad disappointed, as I had wanted a spray that would give a welcoming smell when someone visited. In this situation I think I will be spraying the whole place after they knock so the scent still lingers.

I was however happy to see that the product did not stain the fabrics that I used it on.

The price:

The Avon brochure often has a good few offers on the naturals range and the offer on at the time I purchased mine was any 5 for £5.00. To be honest you can't go wrong for this price, it is definitely worth a quid each and there are lots of different scents to chose from. At the moment there are offers on these too where you can save £1.40 and purchase the spray for only £2.10.

Opinion:

I absolutely loved the smell of this product and although I was disappointed that the smell didn't last that long, I would buy it again. I don't think that the spray is as good as others on the market such as febreeze, which actually mask odours, but I do like and it will definitely be a new monthly buy for me.

Summary: I love the smell of this and it is worth a buy
