I have been addicted to the Naturals room and linen sprays for the past 5 years since my eldest child was born. There is nothing worse than having a smelling room after a nappy change so this spray solved that problem straight away. ********** Packaging ************ Firstly i would like to start with the packaging. The bottle comes in 125mls of spray, its a clear bottle and the spray is also clear so there is no fear that the product will stain any linens at first glance. The top is a pump top with a small push on lid so no aerosols are used meaning better for the enviroment. The label on the bottle is a large picture of the violet flower with a smaller picture of the lychee fruit. it also has the Avon Naturals logo at the top of the label. Violet and lychee room and linen spray is printed twice on the front of the bottle, once in english and the other in french. On the back of the bottle it has the instructions of the best way to keep the aroma in your room and on your linens in a number of different languages. ********* Scent ************* As soon as you spray this air freshner you can instantly smell the violet flower with a small hint of the lychee fruit. The scent is very flowery with a little sweetness about it. I spray 3 sprays into the centre of each room and the smell will last for hours. Although it is quite a small bottle you dont use it very much of it because it is quite strong and lingers for a long time. It deodorises any bad smells that you have in your home aswell. whilst cooking with garlic and onions i give my kitchen a quick spray after the cleaning has been done and i can no longer smell any of the things i have been cooking. we also use it for the dogs beds, its not harmful to pets and takes the smell of the dogs away instantly making everything fresher. ********** Conclusion ******* In conclusion to this product i think it is one of the best on the market. It was very cheap, I brought it whilst on offer in the Avon book for £1.50 per bottle and it really does last. I have found that if i buy 3 or 4 bottles of it whilst it is on offer they all last months and by the time i have to buy some more they are back on offer again. The normal price of the bottles are around £3 to £4, so its better to buy whilst on offer as you can get 2 or 3 bottles for the price of 1. The spray itself doesnt stain fabrics, even the most delicate of fabrics there is no marks on it after they are sprayed. The spray is ok for sensitive skins too, my daughter and partner both have very bad eczma and i do have to be careful in what we use around the home however they have had no problems with this product. i would deffinatly recommend this to anyone who has a love for a nice, fresh smelling home.
This scent in Avon came and went so quickly. It just seemed like it had hard;y been out in the book and then it was getting discontinued from the main book. I tried it when it first came out as it was new and a good price, and I know of a few other people who tried it and thought it smelt nice as well. Wonder why the short visit Avon? This is part of the Avon Naturals collection which is a range of Room and Linen Sprays, Shower gels and Body lotions. I like the range as the scents from here are nice and Fruity and the price for them is alright. This comes in a 125ml bottle and the right price for this is £4. This product used to be £3.75 for quite a while, but went up in the new year to £4. I think this is pretty expensive for a room spray and I have never bought 1 of these at the full price as I just wouldn't pay that for essentially an Air freshener. This being Avon though and the products are on offer every other book basically. There is an offer in the current Avon books for 1 of these for £2, 2 for £3 or 5 for £5. You can mix and match between this kind of product and other things such as Foot Creams, Shower gels ect. So a good price. This scent isn't part of the offer though since not for sale in the main brochure. You can still pick this scent up in the sale books though and i've seen this around the £1.50 mark a few times. The bottle for this looks just like the Dooyoo picture. It is a clear plastic bottle and the liquid is clear as well. The label on it is nice enough looking and a nice Violet colour. This being a pump action bottle means that you only need a few squirts of this and this will pump out a fine enough mist of scent. Being a pump bottle then I find that these are more economical than an aerosol as well so perhaps lasts a bit longer for this reason but I still feel this works out expensive. I tend to just spray about 6 squirts of this into a room and you get a strong enough scent. This one is a lovely scent and it smells a sort of citrus fruity tangy scent mixed with a slightly muskier kind of scent as well. This reminds me of the sweets Parma Violet in a way. The scent lasts a good lenght of time as well and I don't tend to reapply this later on as you can still smell the hint of this. A really nice scent and I will stock up the next time I see this in the sale books.
I have always really loved nice scents, even more so since I have had my own home, and more than that when I started a family, with all the nasty smells that can come from that fact too! After discovering the nice scented linen/body sprays from Avon, I came across one that I hadn't previously tried that was on offer so decided to treat myself! The product in question is - "Avon naturals - violet and lychee room and linen spray". Due to the colouring on the bottle itself (lilac) I had got it into my head that this must small of parma violet sweet, so snapped up a couple of bottles when on offer for £1.00 each (normal price £2.50, though are always on some kind of offer), these are advertised as room and linen sprays, but I have since found out that they can also be used as body sprays. The bottle is not that big, and only holding 125ml of spry, though I tend to keep this stuff on my bedside cabinet with my body sprays, so once I have freshened myself I tend to freshen the bedclothes up too, nothing nicer than getting into a fresh smelling bed! The spray itself is clear and is spray out of the body via a pump action nozzle, be aware though I have a few bottles that once sprayed a few times actually start leaking from said nozzle, though have never actually broken. The scent of this product is not actually that much like the parma violets sweets I was hoping for, but still had a nice if slightly unusual scent to it, more like a tropical fruit scent, though I was disappointed that the violet was not more noticeable. The scent freshened up my bedclothes, but not for very long with very little of the scent being left after an hour of spraying them, but on the upside it doesn't take very long for the fine mist spray to dry, so I tend to spray half an hour before bedtime to make full use of the scent! This isn't the best scent available in the Avon range, and I probably won't be buying this one again, but was nice enough. For more information visit - www.avonshop.co.uk Thanks for reading x
I am a big fan of the Avon Naturals collection of room and linen sprays; they are almost always on offer each month so I always buy then, and have tested almost all of them. For those that don't know, these scents come in a 'pump' spray, in a clear bottle with a coloured label. I was drawn to this 125ml bottle of Violet and Lychee purely because of the colour! I have no idea what 'violet' is meant to smell of, and have eaten Lychees before and vaguely remember them being somewhat sticky! I have to say that this combination is a lovely one, but I can't tell you if it smells of violet! It is quite a sweet smelling spray, and I can certainly detect the sweet stickiness of the Lychee. Its a fairly clean smelling spray, and I use it largely in my lounge because of its light freshness. It isn't a particularly relaxing smell so I wouldn't use it in my bedroom but is highly suited to a large communal area. It is quite sweet so literally 2-3 squirts is enough to scent a room nicely for about an hour. However, after an hour, the smell has completely vanished. And with the bottle only being available in a 125ml sized bottle, to keep your room constantly smelling like this it's going to cost you! Also, unfortunately avon dont offer anything like plug ins or furniture polish in these scents so its difficult to match your cleaning products to enhance the smell. Despite what might sound quite negative, I will continue to buy this product, amongst the others because the handy size and neat bottle means that you can leave this spray to hand and if someone knocks and the door you know a quick spray is possible to make your home fresh. Unlike aerosols, spraying this isnt going to make you cough and splutter and of course id environmentally friendly as contains no CFC's. The normal price of this product is £4 but is really not worth that premium price. I managed to get 3 for £5 in the latest Avon offer, and when they are priced like this they are good value, so look out for offers!
I recently bought I whole load of Avon products from my representative and this was one of them. I really do enjoy the 'naturals' collection that Avon sells and I have also tried their shower gels and body lotions. I myself I am obsessed with smells and things smelling great. So when I saw this room and linen spray I knew I had to have it! There are many in this room spray collection, but I went for the Violet and Lychee. I honestly don't know why I chose this one, but from reading the names of the others, this one appealed to me more I guess. So this Scent is a very fresh, almost sweet scent, that for some reason I don't find to be a strong flowery smell, which I think is great! The room sprays come in 125ml bottle and I can honestly say that mine has lasted my ages. Even thought I do use it quite a lot...not that I am a really smelly person...I do shower!! But I just love that I can freshen up my room with this spray any time I want. I am a bit of a freak when it comes to my room smelling nice when I have friends over, so I do have a tendency to over spray perfumes and other air fresheners for occasions. But with this spray I find that the scent does not become too over powering or strong. Once I spray this into my room, when I come back in a little while later I can still smell it. And this was something that for some reason I didn't think would happen. It really is lovely to walk back into my room and smell the freshness! I think I am driving my family crazy because now I run around the house spraying all the rooms..., yes I am a little strange! And now my whole house smells lovely!!! I paid £2.40 for my spray, which I think is a reasonable price for them. But I am sure that you could find them on the sale page of the Avon book, because this is where I found the shower gels. t £2.40 I wish they were a little chepaer as if they were I would have maybe considered buying a couple more of them at the time. I really liked this spray and I am going to be trying the others soon, to see if the other scents compare in quality to this one. I would certainly recommend this product to everyone as it is ... super lovely! I actually cant find these sprays on the website but you may be able to purchase them from your Avon representative.
