I purchased this drill after, oh, minutes of research and pretending that I knew what I was looking at in the B&Q store. Well, I was surrounded by tradesmen and didn't want to stick out too much. I am soooo lucky that, somehow, I made the right choice. This tool is an excellent all-rounder, and has made my recent jobs of putting together several shelving units, a more heavy duty bookcase, and an even heavier duty cabinet. It also drills through anything from thin wood to masonry. B&Q have their own range of cordless drills. They are low price, come with a range of drills and a usefull carrying case. I got one of these as a bit of an impulse buy. At first everything worked well, nice keyless chuck, quite powerfull, an ideal drill for use around the home. After a year or so the drill was starting to show it's age. The batteries had never had a particularly long life, about 30 minutes use this was now down to about 15 minutes. Not very good considering it's a 5 hour recharge ! You start jobs but can never finish them due to very poor battery life. These drills are cheap, but count on replacing it on a regular ...  Read the complete review
