Advantages: Washes well smells great leaves clothes soft
Disadvantages: cans seem expensive
As a mother we all know that washing is one of those chores that just wont go away my son wears 2 sets of clothes a day and so do I usually due to my younger daughter wiping her dirty hands all over me after her food. We also all wear a new pair of night clothes each night there is only my partner who will wear the same clothes twice and goes mad that I was things after one wear.
I have always swapped my washing powder to find one that will make my clothes smell nice and wont make them all bitty also my partner is very funny about the softness of his clothes and how they feel on his skin dont men complain.
I recently tried Bold 2 in one because I had run out of washing powder and my grandmother had a spare box so she gave it me to use. I couldnt quite belive that it would make my clothes soft being that conditioner was in a powder how does that work I had only ever had conditioner in a bottle in liquid form. I also had reservations about how good it would be on our skin having young children and sensitive skin myself I had always used the non bio fairy.
I put my first wash in which was my sons school uniform his jumpers always got dirty and as we all know woolen items go very bitty after so many washes. I was pleasantly suprised when I took my washing out the smell was georgeous my washing had never had such a pleasant smell I hung it all out to dry taking advantage of the current nice weather and put the next load in which was whites. I struggle to keep my whites white and stains are a pain to get out.
Soon the washing outside was dry my partners t-shirts were soft which suprised me and so were my sons school jumpers so the little funny coloured powder beads in the washing powder had obviously worked and they still had the great smelling aroma which made them smell so fresh and clean. The washing powder had also taken out any dirt marks which was great the other powders or liquid tabs that I used usually missed a mark or two.
I always use a stain remover pre wash and the powder vanish that goes in the draw for my whites so I had done this before I had put them in. When the wash had finished I hung them out force of habbit I was checking for stains on any of my white clothes I found one very faided one which was amazing usually I had to throw at least 4 items of clothing back in the wash to try again. Yet again this was smelt amazing I am not usually a lavender fan but this was lovely and yet again the clothes were soft. This powder has really made an impression on me.
I will admit that I do add fabric conditioner to my wash with the washing powder just to give it a little more softness but if I ever run out of the liquid I know that I can get away with using just the powder because my clothes will come out soft enough. You dont have to use much of the powder and the fact that it comes in a pour packet that is easy to open and easy to use is great no more spills on the floor. It is only a small box really but it does last for approximately 30 washes and I do 6 to 8 a week so it does last me a month. It is expensive at almost £4 a pack but for a months of washing you cant complain and I have also changed between the different aromas each one is as nice as the other I cant say that I could pick a favourite.
I find that it does the job that it was inteded to do and more and that it is good vaule for money I have no complaints and would recommend this to anyone.
Summary: Great washing powder that the whole family will love
