If there's one thing I hate its shopping for things like laundry powder, softeners and detergent. There is so many different kinds, all doing different things and seemingly better than others. And they are all equally as expensive.

This is when I came across the Bold 2 in 1 tablet's. I prefer tablets to powder and the idea of not having to buy a softener as well seemed like the perfect way to go. They come in a range of different fragrances, crushed silk and jasmine, lavender and camomile and pomegranate and orange blossom and sizes, boxes of 24, 30 and 48.

I bought a box of the crushed silk and jasmine which had 30 tablets inside. They are a detergent and fabric softener all rolled into one. There is 15 washes worth of tablets in the box and they give a freshness that lasts up to 7 days. The tablets are about 2 x 2 inch, they are mainly white with a pink section in the middle of the tablet and they weigh 33g.

For best results the tablets should be place in the machine drawer. I personally use the drawstring bag and place the tablets in the washing machine. For normal soiled clothes 2 tablets should be used and for heavier soiled clothes 3 tablets should be used. Due to the credit crunch I only use 1 tablet to save money. My clothes are only worn once before they are washed so I don't consider them to be in need of more than one tablet.

The box is very compact and is full with tablets. The crushed silk and jasmine come in a pink box which can be recycled. The tab on the side of the box makes opening it quick and effective. For best results tablets should be kept in there wrappers until needed.

On the bottom of the box there is a map of Britain that shows whether you are in a soft, medium or hard water area and gives a recommendation on each of how many tablets should be used.

Tips for safe washing.
Avoid filling machine.
Use the lowest recommended temperature.
Measure according to soil and water hardness.
Do not break tablets.
Not suitable for wool, silk or hand wash garments.

I bought my box of 30 for the price of £3.98 which is expensive but they do last along time. So far the bold 2 in 1 have been my favourite wash tablet. There easy to use and they smell lovely, which of course means my clothes smell lovely too. What more can a girl ask for. I haven't tried the different fragrances and maybe one day I will, until then I'm happy to continue using the crushed silk and jasmine.
