Advantages: Smells lovely, softens clothes well, cheaper...

Disadvantages: Would fade colours...

In our household there is an economy drive going on so we are trying different products to see if they offer better value for money and one of them is this Bold 2 in 1 washing powder by Procter & Gamble.

This cost £1.97 on offer, about 30p less then usual and has built in conditioner so that in theory you don't have to buy separate fabric softener which would save quite a bit of cash over time wouldn't it?

Ours has a scent of Lavender & Camomile in which smells really strong and lovely!

The write up on the purple 800g box says 'New freshness experience that lasts up to 7 days' and there is a list of washing instructions down one side panel and care instructions down the other saying to be careful with this detergent around children, to rinse of skin if you get any on it and to take care if you have sensitive skin...

You can hand wash with this Bold 2 in 1 powder too, the directions again are on the box.

'Soothe your senses' it says on the top and I can see why as it smells really relaxing :)

It is also more concentrated than the last Bold formula so less is needed, the box says it does around 10 washes but we got more than that out of it as my mum is a cleaning fanatic- if it hits the floor it gets washed, lol!

It does contain bleaching agents so I wouldn't use this on my Black clothes but the rest came up lovely when we used this product.

The write up also advices to use an extra 70ml per wash for extra fragrance in the washing - and it works too!

I think this stuff works really well, everything that was light coloured came out really bright and clean, the smell does last for ages, even when you put your dry clothes and underwear away and leave it for a bit.

The only way the lavender smell disappeared was when stuff like towels were tumble dried on a rainy day, although the items were still really soft like when dried outside and kind to the skin too.

Five star for a product that really works well, we would use this 2 in 1 powder by Bold again; it's awesome and saves money too! :)

Summary: Good stuff at a good price - leaves more to spend on me ;)
