Circular sanders are much more powerful than orbital sanders because they revolve the whole disc round and move it from side to side. This enables the sander to give a much better peformance and sand much quicker. I have a Bosch circular sander which replaced my Black and Decker Mouse which burn out. I found that the mouse, allthough being able to get into small corners easily, wasn't half as good as the circular sander and was effectively the same price. The sander i bought also came with a built in dust-bag which is very useful as it gives off quite a lot of dust.
