Advantages: A great product that works well.

Disadvantages: Can be damging to emulsion painted surfaces.

Blu-tack is a wonderful creation, it is made by Bostik (the makers of superglue) and it is a very useful and very clean way of sticking things to walls and the likes.

I use a lot of Blu-tack to stick pictures my grand kids have drawn for me on my fridge and on my kitchen cupboard doors.

You just need the tiniest piece of Blu-tack which can be rolled or stretched like Plasticine, to stick a picture to the wall and it can simply be peeled off and re-joined to the large piece of Blu-tack in the packet and re-used.

Most supermarkets will sell Blu-tack as will stationery shops and you can buy it in various sized packs.

I always used to buy mine from Woolworths but sadly they are no longer with us so when I needed it the last time I bought it from Asda and the middle sized pack cost me just 99p and it will last a very, very long time.

Blu-tack can sometimes leave a greasy mark on paint work especially emulsion paint work so be careful when using it on walls and ceilings as I have done in the past when hanging decorations for a kids Halloween party and in extreme circumstances it can pull paint off if the paint is very thin but when used on gloss painted surfaces or unpainted surfaces it will give you no worries.

Blu-tack is a really inexpensive sticky product, what more can I say!
