Bounty - Great but a Little Pricey (Plenty Kitchen Paper)

Advantages: You use less because it is definitely more absorbent

Disadvantages: Costs a fair bit more than store's own

I used to be addicted to kitchen towels and whilst you can't get treatment for it at the Priory, it did annoy me a bit - I always felt guilty for the money and paper wasted. So I changed to using old tea towels for buffing up my kitchen surfaces after cleaning them which had been the biggest culprit in my usage and I tried to phase it out entirely. But it is the truth that it is just too useful (vital in fact when we got our puppy, but that's not an everyday situation and they do grow out of the puddle phase after what seems like a lifetime and then you can go back to normal).

So in using a lot less, I felt justified in trying a higher quality product so, after watching lots of adverts for Bounty, I thought I would give it a go. The difference between it and my normal store brand was noticeable (I won't even go into what I think of the value brands but suffice it say that, after a quick experiment, I'm not going there again). You definitely do need less than before and so the criteria of cutting down on usage was definitely achieved.

However, I'm not sure that you use sufficiently less to justify the increase in price. I would recommend it as being a good product but personally would stick to buying it when it is on special offer or when I have a money off coupon (which turn up fairly regularly).

Summary: Well worth it if you can pick some up on special offer so the price is more comparable
