Advantages: Really thick and long lasting
Disadvantages: More pricey than the supermarket own brands
It is no longer called 'Bounty', but is now named 'Plenty', which i find is better in name and a better product.
I bought 'Bounty' some time last year as it was on offer and was disappointed with the product. The paper towel was not thick and it would break up really easily. I use kitchen rolls for a large manner of things i.e. cleaning the kitchen sides, cooker top, around the window sills (especially in the kitchen), placing food on etc.
The reason i bought 'Plenty' now is because it was the best option to go for at the supermarket.
I bought the pack about 1 week ago for £3.48 from Tesco for a pack of 8 rolls. I thought this was quite cheap as the other brands, such as 'Thirst Pockets', only had 6 rolls in them and started from £3.76 upwards.
I have to admit that my partner did say to me when i bought them: 'Why did you buy them. They're rubbish!' I did wonder myself!
How wrong people can be!
The towel itself is a lot stronger and thicker than before and as soon as you feel, and see, the towel you can automatically notice the difference. I would normally use 2 pieces of the 'Thirst Pockets' that i previously bought when cleaning the kitchen side with disenfectant spray. With 'Plenty' i only need to use 1 piece. It does not rip when you are wiping things down, like 'Bounty' did previously and 1 piece wiped all my kitchen sides down easily. I must admit i don't have a large kitchen, so some of you out there may need to use 2 pieces!!
I would definitely recommend 'Plenty' now. For the price you are getting a really good deal, and i am still using the first roll from the pack, a week later! That's not happened to me before!
Summary: Good value for the money. Well worth it.
