Brillo fads (Brillo Pads)
Member Name: deanne
Advantages: Good for rust marks Disadvantages: Touch on the hands
I remember my mum having these in her 'under the sink' cupboard. They never had scourers in those days so everyone used them for scrubbing roast tins or burnt on milk in saucepans!!. It must have been awful on the hands but I remember them being very effective, but only usable once. I always have a box in my 'under the sink' cipboard as I find it removes rust stains brilliantly. I left some pliers on the white plastic garden table last summer and frost and rain caused them to rust and it left an unsightly mark of rust. I scrubbed and scrubbed but to no avail. Then my mum suggested Brillo pads. It scrubbed up lovely!!! Use window cleaner with the brillo pad and you will be surprised at the result. Summary: |
