Advantages: often on offer for a premium brand
Disadvantages: none
I tend to use Charmin often. This is probably because it is often on special offer, and since unfortunately we all, I think, need Toilet Roll then we may as well get a bargain when we can.
Charmin is available in either White or Honey colour. You can buy it in 4 rolls, which roughly cost £2.20, 12 rolls, which roughly cost £4.80 and 24 rolls, which roughly cost £9.00. I got 4 rolls out of my local Good News Supermarket last night for £1.04 on their less than half price offer. Also the other week Asda was selling a 16 roll pack, which you don't often get that roll pack size for £4, so I stocked up on both occassions.
You get an average of 240 sheets per roll. The paper is thick and pretty durable and basically it does what it's meant to do. The rolls have a bit of a pattern on them, but i'm not much fussed about any kind of pattern!
This brand has a cartoon teddy as it's motif, and I suppose it brightens up the wrapper if nothing else, but again not sure what a teddy bear has to do with Toilet Roll - maybe it's the old joke about bears doing the toilet in the woods?!
To summarise, as there isn't much you can write about Toilet Roll. It does what it is meant to do and is often a good deal.
