charmin - good enough for me! (Charmin Toilet Tissue)

Advantages: good price,soft & medium quality

Disadvantages: not the thickest around

I'm not quite sure what we all do with the load of loo rolls I keep buying but we get through a great deal in our house!

I used to buy Andrex (or similar) on a regular basis but, to be honest, I refuse to pay the prices charged these days & don't buy the most expensive unless they're on offer.

I made bad mistakes buying budget toilet tissue (eg Tesco's & Sainsbury's) but came across Charmin in our local cut-price store & thought I'd give it a try as it was only £1.19 for 4 rolls.

The packaging is pretty standard & easy to rip open & is able to be re-cycled.

The rolls look smaller than more expensive brands but you still get 200 sheets per roll.

The colours available were white, pink & peach so I chose white because it fits in with our loos.

Although not as thick as other more expensive rolls these were fine as they are not as thin as some of the cheaper ones.

They are soft as well & I've used them for removing eye-make-up & nail-varnish remover as well as for it's intended use!

Each sheet has a lightly embossed design on it which stops them from looking cheap.

I'd probably buy these again at this price as the quality is OK although I might just buy a few rolls of Andrex for our downstairs loo in case of visitors ( call me Hyacinth if you want?)
