Advantages: Reasonable price paid, thickness is ideal, nice and white.

Disadvantages: A little expensive at the usual price.

Toilet rolls are something that all households will require and mine is no different of course! I usually just buy whatever is on offer and keep the toiletries area nicely stocked at all times to avoid any shouts of 'where's the toilet roll' booming out from the bathroom.

16 rolls of Charmin are available for £6.74 from Tesco stores or www.tesco.com but I picked up my large packet from a local market for £4.00 which I thought was very reasonable at 25p per roll.

The packaging is simple polythene with purple and white logos and a picture of a brown bear (he features in the Charmin adverts usually). It's easily distinguishable on the supermarket shelves.

There are an average of 180 sheets of 2-ply toilet tissue per standard Charmin roll and these particular rolls have Absorbubbles which is apparently supposed to help lead to fewer toilet roll changes and less usage and these rolls are marketed as being XXL rolls with twice as many sheets as the standard one so there should be 360 sheets (although I've not counted). These rolls were a fairly snug fit on the toilet roll holder so this might be something to watch out for.

The toilet rolls are white and are thick and fairly soft. They have a nice texture to them and aren't harsh or dirty looking which some cheaper brands can be.

The rolls are always well aligned which I'm pleased about as there is nothing more annoying than wasting loads more paper because the 2 plys aren't correctly lined up, plus, it just annoys me in general as it looks untidy and I like the roll to be nice and neat when we have visitors.

The thickness of these toilet rolls is ideal and there is no need to fold these over in order to use them without making a mess.

I would recommend these toilet rolls, they are expensive but I was very pleased with the price I paid which is only around twice the price of a value toilet roll for a far superior quality.

I am going to rate these 5/5 as I've tried lots of other brands in the past and these are very good indeed. Sometimes it's good to have one of the best brands available and toilet rolls are definitely one of these times!

Summary: A great white thick toilet tissue.

Often Lidls do a 24 roll offer for around the same price as 16. Keep an eye out.

Nicely done. I hate toilet paper that isn't aligned too - LOL!
