good shine but strong smell! (Cif Bathroom Spray)

Advantages: leaves bath clean and shiny

Disadvantages: the smell, o crikey, the smell

having run out of my usual bathroom cleaner, i picked up the Cif bathroom spray because i had used the Jif cream cleaner in the past.

The spray comes out slightly foamed and although smells concentrated - more of which later - i have found that i have to spray quite a bit to cover the bath completely. The cleaner itself is good, it gets rid of any stains quickly and without too much scrubbing or elbow grease. It brings up a good shine on the chrome and metal bits such as taps and bath rails which keeps me happy. Unlike other cleaners that i've used though, it does take a bit of scrubbing with it to make the tile grout clean. The end result of the cleaner is that it's quick and easy to use and leaves the bath and sink clean and shiny.

However, the drawbacks to this is that it doesn't really keep the shine for long. And the smell, god, the smell. It really hangs around and isn't the pleasantest by any stretch of the imagination. It must be some form of fake lemon/lime/made up smell manufactured in a bleach plant. If you are sensitive to strong smells, then best to leave alone. in other cases, leave a window open - for at least a few hours!
