... £3.50. It says to leave on for about 30 - 60 minutes for heavily soiled. So I guessed I would be in that category. I sprayed it all over the inside of the oven (electric) and left it for an hour. I also opened all the windows as it had a very strong scent of lemon which made me feel a bit sick. I then scrubbed the oven (wearing rubber gloves) pretty hard for a while, then got some water to remove all the cleaner. It does work, a lot of black burnt bits came off, and my oven now looks fit for deposit returning. The only thi...more

Premium Review Cif Fume Free Oven Spray: Perfect for people with asthma who like a clean oven (357 words)
by - written on 05/03/08 (Useful, 70 readings)

When I clean inside my oven I always end up wheezy after because all the cleaners leave too much of a chemical smell inside the oven and when I lean into it the smell and fumes start my asthma off. My nurse said to try this fume free oven cleaner from Cif because she said it was the fumes not the smell itself that was making me ill. I brought some yesterday because my oven needed a clean and it works very well. The cleaner comes in one of those bottles with a trigger so it is easy to direct the cleaner to exactly where I need it to go in the oven. I sprayed a little bit on a tough sauce stain that has set in my oven and left it for 10 minutes and when I came ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Oven cleaning made easy. (477 words)

I find oven cleaning is one of the worst chores to do in the home so any helping hand is greatfully recieved and after reading a review on dooyoo a while ago for this product I thought I would give it a try as it had very good review. I purchased my spray bottle from costcutter last month for £3.99 which is quite a lot but it is quite a large bottle so should last a while and I did not mind paying if it worked aswell as I hoped. The bottle itself is lime green colour with a spray nozzle, the bottle states that it is fume free and tough on greese and burnt on food. The bottle reads: Light to medium soiled areas....leave 15 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cif Fume Free Oven Spray: No Scrubbers Needed (504 words)

The oven was looking a little neglected and I was drawn to this bottle for two reasons. First it is Cif - and I have always found their products extremely reliable, and secondly - the words fume-free on the label - sometimes using a harsh oven cleaner can leave the eyes watering somewhat in amongst all the chemicals from sprays so this sounds a good idea. Currently costing £3.99 for 500ml in Tesco I don't feel this is a bad price if it works as it is quite a significant size and will last for a fair amount of oven cleans. The bright green bottle has a picture of a sparkling oven on it and I was hoping my oven may be close to this when finished. For ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Twas The Night Before Christmas (423 words)

My oven was severely in need of a good clean, the fact that the burnt on grime would start smoking and set the fire alarm off every time I used it for a prolonged period of time was not enough to make me clean it but the thought of not being able to cook my turkey for several hours without starting a fire was. Cif fume free oven cleaner seemed like a good bet as I had read a few reviews about it, most normal oven cleaners are so harsh that they leave a horrible smell for hours afterwards and I wanted to avoid that. My bottle cost me £3.50 for 500ml from Tesco. To use it you spray onto a cold oven and leave for between 15 and 60 minutes depending on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cif Fume Free Oven Spray: YAY - I've got a brand new oven now!! (466 words)

One job I hate doing & have been putting off for ages is giving the oven a real good thorough clean. We had visitors for 16 weeks who continually cooked but never thought of wiping the oven clean & I was so overworked at the time that I've only just got round to doing it - but thanks to Cif it looks like I have a brand new oven. The problem is that most oven cleaners I've used in the past have all had a horrible smell which tends to linger for a long time & puts me off using the oven as a form of cooking. I read a couple of reviews on Dooyoo & decided to give Cif a try as it claims to be fume-free & is currently ...  Read the complete review
