Oven cleaning made easy. (Cif Fume Free Oven Spray)

I find oven cleaning is one of the worst chores to do in the home so any helping hand is greatfully recieved and after reading a review on dooyoo a while ago for this product I thought I would give it a try as it had very good review.

I purchased my spray bottle from costcutter last month for £3.99 which is quite a lot but it is quite a large bottle so should last a while and I did not mind paying if it worked aswell as I hoped.

The bottle itself is lime green colour with a spray nozzle, the bottle states that it is fume free and tough on greese and burnt on food.

The bottle reads:
Light to medium soiled areas....leave 15 minutes.
Medium areas......leave 30 minutes.
Heavy areas.....leave 30 to 60 minutes.

So the day after buying I decided to try out my new product, The bottle does have a safety cap which you need to unlock first, I then took out all my stainless steel racks and soaked them in hot water with a few squirts of the spray, and followed the instructions. I classed my oven as medium so sprayed liberally and left for 30 minutes.

I know the bottle says fume free, but when I sprayed I thought it had some smell to it, which is similar to lemons but very mild and I found I needed to open my kitchen window so I did not inhale any when cleaning off.

After the 30 minutes I opened the door and started to wipe clean the oven, and was pleasantly surprised with the results, I did not really need to do any scrubbing, I just cleaned the sides and loads of greese and dirt came off on the kitchen roll. I got through a few sheets of kitchen towel as the fluid soaked in the greese.

I now use this once a fortnight to clean my oven as it keeps it clean and does not take so long each time.

I also found great results with my stainless steel racks, and again they just needed a good wipe over an came up good as new.

I now use this on my barbeque after use and it brings it up lovely.

You must only use this on cold surfaces and do not use on self cleaning ovens.

The fluid is irritating to eyes and skin, so always use gloves and rinse eyes if any contact made.

My opinion of this product is a very high one, I am so pleased I read the review on dooyoo and will now use this from now on whenever I clean my oven. I highly recommend it.
