What's with this entire CIF lark? There was nothing wrong with the name Ajax.

For what it's worth, this opinion is very negative from the very outset and therfore I know that I may get a few snotty comments.

I was sent some of these wipes as a free sample and therefore cannot comment on the price of the product, and have not been impressed with it at all. Why on earth would we wish to buy a product, similar in style to babies bum wipes that once used and thrown away, are likely to end up in a large landfill site somewhere in Great Britain?

I know that their are a large number of people that are very 'green' and recycle as much waste as possible (I for one am one of those people) but do we really need to create more waste than we need?

Plain old-fashioned tap water with a teaspoon of vinegar, on a soft cloth gives better results than CIF, and is less damaging to the environment.

CIF did not leave my windows sparkling, but instead left them full of smears. The cloth wipes dried out too quickly and my fingers absolutely reeked of chemicals.

This is possibly one of the hardest opinions I have written, perhaps because I do not wish to be classed as a whinging planet do-gooder, or perhaps because I have so many negative opinions about such wasteful products (with silly names or not!)

Complete waste of money.
