Advantages: good results, nice packaging, cheap
If there's one thing I like more than anything it's for a bath to be cleaned out. I do not like a bath that has dirt and hairs on it when it is supposedly meant to be clean nor do I like a bath when someone has rinsed it with water and says that it's cleaned. I know what you're thinking either a) how disgusting hairs and dirt or b) what a snobby cow. Let me justify myself here though I get round my complaining thanks to Cif previously Jif.
I have used numerous bath cleaning products but none quite do the job like Cif Bath mousse. They come in two scents Lemon Fresh which I love or the one I am currently using Arctic Fresh. So what the product says it will do, help prevent limescale. This mousse can be used on plastic, enamel and chromed surfaces which pretty much covers most baths.
So the first thing I noticed about Cif was the packaging. The can is metallic blue with a light blue plastic lid. The packaging is very nice with the green cif logo and arctic fresh written with a watery wave surrounding the test. I think the can looks sophisticated with the metallic silver and turquoise, it's very eye catching.
So the instructions to the mousse are as follows. You first must give it a shake so that it comes out like a spray instead of big clumps of mousse. You then spray it a little away from the bath walls to get an even coating of mouse around the whole bath. You then leave it on for 5-10 minutes to rid of the dirt and then rinse it off with a shower head or if you don't have this I think a cup should do as long as it's rinsed off.
What you should have left should be a clean fresh smell, a shiny white bath, or just shiny in some cases depending on your bath colour. I find that my bath is always clean and even with close observation there is no dirt left and you can see the dirt flow down the drain with the excess mousse. It doesn't take up much of the mousse. You get 500ml in a can which is good enough.
I buy this usually in most places for £1.19. It is a worthwhile product and I don't have to buy it to regularly but I feel it is worth the money if you want to step into a clean bathtub everytime you use it.
On the back of the can you get all of the precautions such as to keep it away from the eyes, some may call this useless but you never know these days. I used to use Jif products and now as Cif I still use them, they give me the best results and the moose really acts on the dirt whereas I've used liquids and feel they still do not make the bathtub shiny clean.
The can is easy to hold you just push down the nozzle for use. The blue can fits in probably with most bathroom colour schemes as well.
