Disadvantages: The fragrance of the one I bought isn't great!
I love my home to be fresh and clean, like most of us do I guess. I spend a fortune on cleaning products weekly to keep my living space spick and span but I do appreciate products that work harder than I have to and want my cleaning to be as fast and as effortless as humanly possible!
I bought this product for my bathroom last week, in Asda as t was on offer from around £2.00 a can usual selling price to a pound a can and as I'd never seen it before yet alone ever used it I thought it sounded interesting being a leave on mousse idea and bought myself a can!
The can is large and holds 500ml of the product and is a long and cylinder and green and silver coloured and on the front of it we are told that it is CIF Bathroom Mousse 'Citrus Burst' (there are other fragrances available as well by the way) and that to use it you just spray, clean and rinse and that it gives 'Brilliant Results' and 'Minimum Effort'. On the back of the can other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients, warnings and the size is stated and contact details for the manufacturer are given (unilever). To the top of the can there is a white push button plastic dispenser which is easy to use and over that an easy to pull on and off see through bright green coloured lid. There is plenty of information on the can given in foreign languages too and all in all this is a nice enough styled and informative can.
To use this is really very simple indeed. On the can we are told to spray some mousse on to where we want to clean in our bathroom and then leaves it for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it away.
This (according to the information given on the back of the can) is suitable for plastic, enamel and chrome surfaces.
I simply spray my bath, shower head and taps, my toilet, sink and I personally even use this on my tiles as well. I don't use it on my shower screen or mirrors and/or glass as it smears badly and on my laminate floor makes it greasy but to be fair we are not told it is ok to clean these areas on the can anyway with this and I can see why.
I direct the nozzle where I want it to go and out comes a bit of white mousse and it quickly doubles in size. This particular fragrance does smell vaguely citrusy but a little fake for me and a bit too sweet but its ok and not awful. I always leave it at least 5 minutes then I wipe the mousse away or say in the bath I will shower it away or use a jug of water and simple swill down the area.
I absolutely love this mousse! It removes grease and grime easily, grub from around taps and the likes and chrome is left shiny without me having to polish it or anything else. It leaves the room smelling fresh for a good time too though I have to admit I am not overly keen on this particular fragrance....... it does smell better than dirty, nasty niffs. I spray some into my toilet, as I said wipe down plastic with it and a little of this product really does go a very long way indeed!
I won't personally be purchasing this particular fragrance again but I will be buying the product again as this removes hairs from my bath I've forgotten to remove, dirt from in between my tiles that has collected over time and around my taps and stuff is now gleaming.
I like this product cos it works and I don't have to. It rinses off with ease and you can get away with simply wiping it off surfaces with a damp/wet cloth as well!
Available in all good supermarkets etc.
