Disadvantages: It can be costly
Cif bathroom mousse - £2.50 at ASDA
Now I'm a bit of a lazy cleaner, so any thing that can be just left to soak, and then wiped in my book in considered to be good.
Not only can this mousse be sprayed and wiped down it's actually quite good fun to use. I mean don't expect Alton Towers or anything, but it's mildly entertaining and quick.
So the mousse comes in lemony fresh (officially called citrus burst), and although there is another flavour my local ASDA do not stock it so I cannot comment on the scent. To me the scent does have a bit of a bleach undertone, but the lemon scent is strong, and not unpleasant. The can is a pressurised container, and such be disposed of without setting fire to it, or bursting it.
The top of the bottle has a plastic 'notch' to press down on, and a short nozzle that will direct the flow of the product directly up if the bottle is not 'aimed' at something. (The bottle comes with a warning not to spray it upwards, and I'd definitely say don't get it in your eyes)... When the product comes out is looks very like hair mousse, but it does loose it's consistency quite quickly.
Now for the fun bit, you can spray the product down the overflows of the bath and basin and make it come out the plug hole... I personally justify this by saying I'm cleaning out the pipe work, but really it's just fun. (I've done it in the kitchen sink too, which probably has more justification to it)...
I'd personally recommend this to people as it's a hassle free way to clean, and it's effective. Each bottle tends to last one application, but if I don't play then it'll last two - but for me it's a great way to get a real deep clean.
Summary: It's the best fun I've had cleaning
