Advantages: Lots of uses, fizzes well & cleans easily, nice scented with lemons.

Disadvantages: The 'STOP' trigger stopper does not actually stop everything coming out.

Cif Multi-Purpose Actifizz is available in two scents; lemon & ocean and here I will review the lemon spray. The spray is provided in a plastic bottle which is yellow in colour (for lemon of course) and has a white & grey screw top trigger action spray for ease of use. Once the bottle is finished with you should be able to remove the top and recycle the bottle in your usual manner.

To use this spray simply spray it on to the area that you want to clean and it will fizz up quite a bit and get to work on those tough stains straight away. It is suitable for use in bathrooms & kitchens as well as miscellaneous other places around the house such as worktops, sinks, taps, tiles, basins, baths and much more. It's worth me mentioning that we used it today on a laminated desk which had several months worth of tea, coffee & various drink stains on it and once it had been left for just a few seconds a quick wipe with a dishcloth (dry when we started) and a little bit of elbow grease removed all of the stains fast & effectively. To use this in the bathroom or kitchen simply spray on & then rinse thoroughly, it states for best results to give the area a dry afterwards & this should help it to look nice & shiny. This does bring up taps and baths lovely and makes everything very shiny if you follow the instructions provided above.

A 750ml bottle of this is available for £2.47 from Tesco stores or www.tesco.co.uk and I think that this is a perfectly reasonable price for a product that is going to last a number of months while being used a couple of times a week.

It's very simple to use and the lemon scent is definitely there amongst all of the other ingredients but it is not very strong, just enough to make things smell nice & clean close up.

Now I do have one HUGE complaint about this product and that is that on the end of the trigger there is a cap which can be turned. Two ways are to 'STOP' the spray and two are to 'SPRAY' the spray, however, I turned it to stop and pretended to Tom that I was going to spray him with it and it gave him a full blast all over his clothes (no damage was done thankfully!) I then went to the sink and tried both of the STOP nozzles only to find that it still continues to give a half squirt so I have promptly fired off a complaint to Unilever about this.

The product itself is very good & providing you keep the bottle out of harms way then I see no reason why you shouldn't use it, however, because of the issue with the trigger stopper I am going to rate this product 4/5.

Summary: A fantastic cleaning product with a not so fantastic safety stopper.
