Disadvantages: It is not the strongest limescale remover on the market

I ran out of my Cillit bathroom cleaner so I went to Sainsbury's to buy a new one. Cif Power Cream Bathroom cought my eyes. It was an extra that it was on offer. The 750 ml spray usually costs 2.66 pounds but for several days it was only 1.77 pounds (1/3 less). When it is on full price it is quite expensive I think as this bathroom cleaner is not the most effective I have ever tried.


First impressions

The bathroom cleaner is in a white plastic bottle that is transparent slightly. The liquid itself is white as well. It gave me the impression of cleanness. The label on it is mostly blue, there is a red stripe on the top of it highlighting that it is a Big 750ml pack. Below this red stripe you can see the Cif logo in a green oval written with big white letters. Under the big logo you can find the PowerCream sign, the letters are contoured with silver line and twinkles the end of this label. There is a red Bathroom sign on it as well, then the functions of this cleanser: limescale; soapscum; stubborn dirt. Easy rinse formula.

The label and the white bottle with thick white liquid in it were quite attracting, so I put it in my basket and tried it later in the afternoon. I usually clean the bathroom when my kids are sleeping or are away with their father.


How to use it

First I opened the bottle by turning the cap on then I sprayed everywhere where it was needed (shower enclosure, shower tray, basin, taps, etc.) It has a very pleasant smell compared to the other limescale removers. It is very easy to spray on the different surfaces. The spray function of the bottle works very well, I remained clean and I could spray it exactly where I wanted.

By the time I finished with spraying to the different surfaces I could started the first item's cleaning. I use a normal washing up sponge for it which has scouring surface. I cleaned the whole bathroom in 15 minutes.

I have to admit that there were places where I had to repeat the whole cleaning process again because this in not the most effective limescale remover I have ever tried, but is nod bad at all. It is the one which has a fragrance not a bad chemical smell.

My opinion about the product

I think it is a limescale remover I stick to. Although it is not the strongest available in the market, but it was a pleasure using it. I hate bad chemical smell. While cleaning our bathroom I felt very pleasant fragrance which was outstanding. It is very easy to apply it everywhere in the bathroom. I used it in the kitchen as well, and of course it works there as well.
I think when it will be on offer again I will buy more of it. It lasts quite long. I clean two bathrooms and a kitchen with it and I used half of it in two months. I clean the bathrooms and the kitchen when it is due (when the limescale gets visible) not every second day. I rather spend my time with my kids than cleaning the house.
So I definitely will buy it again and I recommend it.
