Advantages: Clings well to the surface, and brings things quickly to a shine

Disadvantages: Smells strongly of bleach

I am a cleaning product addict. If its new fangled, smell nice and sometimes....only sometimes....works, I have it in my jungle like undersink cupboard. I also however like fairly traditional cleaning products like Cif Cream. So when I saw Cif cream with bleach and microparticles I was delighted.

I bought it in Asda (where I tend to go for cleaning products as they always have great offers on cleaning stuff) it cost £1.67 for a 500ml bottle. The packaging is now different from the listed picture, its a Royal blue colour with a pink top and writing. Very cool.

I started by sqirting it on my hob, which is a 5 burner stainless steel one. I clean it regularly, but it has baked on food around the bottom of the rings themselves. It looks and has the consistancy of standard Cream cleaner, fairly easy to poor, but a thick opaque liquid that clings well to what you apply it to! It pulled off the dirt a treat. Didn't need scrubbing, just a wipe for the main body of the cooker, and a gentle scourer got the baked on dirt off simply. Rinsed off easily, did need a proper buffing up with a dry ish cellulose sponge to get the shine going.

The negative, the only negative is that it STINKS! A very strong nose tickling bleach smell wafted around the kitchen for hours. I don't like the smell of bleach, but obviously like the results!

Next, I tackled the grout in the shower. Its fantastic for this as it clings to the gaps in the tiles and really brings them back to life...and the lovely white I like rather than the orangy yellow that they go after a week or 2 of Dove soap scumming them up.

Overall, a great old fashioned cleaner that really really works. Cheap, effective and a real must have.

Summary: A must have staple cleaning product

I like the sound of this for tile grouting - I have used Dettol Mould & Mildew spray in the past and the fumes it gives off are awful - the smell of beach seems far more preferable!
