Advantages: Good on very tough stains

Disadvantages: The smell! It can't just be me!

I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to cleaning products as you can see by my other reviews, but when I saw that Cilit Bang was half price in Sainsburys I thought it was worth a try, in spite of the incredibly irritating TV adverts!

The first thing that struck me was the price- it seemed incredibly expensive for a product to use every day. Then there was the smell. Is it just me or does it smell like... urine? Urine mixed with chemicals- awful.

Yes, the product works, but if you wipe down your surfaces every day why do you need a product to "blast away dirt"? Unfortunately the bottle is still sat in my cupboard waiting to be used- I can't get over the smell or the harshness of the chemicals which make my eyes water. On top of that it's very hard on your hands which is a bit worrying if you accidentally get any on your skin.

The highest mark I can give this product is 2 stars and that's because it does work- but I would rather clean up every day with a mild, cheaper product than use Cilit Bang again.

Summary: Anyone want a half bottle of Cilit Bang?
