Advantages: Good for doing all the laundry with one load.

Disadvantages: None.

I do my laundry as I go along, as soon as I have enough to load the washing machine I tend to wash them, so I do not have a build up of clothes etc and so to make my life a little easier but about a month ago I was not too well and my hubby had to load the machine, but he took no notice of what instructions I had given him to do and he placed some whites with the colours and the coloured clothing ruined my whites and I was not too well chuffed as I had a nice white top and he ruined it lol, it was ok because I allowed him to buy me another recently lol, but he was only trying to help bless him.

I saw this colour catcher, and the one I bought was a trial pack of 5 for only 49p, so I thought I would buy it and test it out with some very old clothing to see if it worked, I was not going to try it out with some of my best clothing as I was afraid it may ruin them again, and with the older clothing it would not matter.

These are soft, kind of paper sheets, they are a good thickness and they have a slight fragrance to them, each sheet is treated with a special ingredient that acts like a magnet to remove loose dirt and dyes during the wash cycle, it helps keep coloured garments bright and prevents discolouration in the laundry.

All that is needed is to place one sheet at the back of the machine drum before loading the machine and to use 2 or 3 sheets for new garments that need to be washed for the first time as some of the dye can tend to come out of the garments when they are new.

Next just use your normal detergent in the usual way and fabric conditioner, and at the end of the wash cycle just remove the sheet from the fabrics and throw it away in the bin.

Any dye is on the sheet or sheets and not on the garments and it means that mixed washes can be used with these sheets.

They worked perfectly for the laundry I tried with them, and I will be buying them again in the future and if my hubby does any laundry for me in the future, I will tell him to pop one sheet into the machine just in case he does it wrong again and I will be a happy bunny lol.

These are available also in packs of 10, I am not sure if there are larger packs but I think the 10 pack is priced at around £1.30, which is a very good price, the sheets are of a very good quality too and I like the thickness of them and once removed they are nice and soft and do not stick to the garments.

I highly recommend these for anyone to give them a try as I think they are brilliant and good value for money and most of all they work a treat.

I give them 5 stars.
