Comfort Concentrate Fabric Conditioner Exhilarations Blueberry & Jasmine Twist
Advantages: Smell, soft clothes, smell has staying power
Please note the picture above does not match the name of the product.
When it comes to fabric conditioners I am not overly fussy however I do prefer the Comfort Exhilarations range or Lenor so when they are on offer I will buy these rather than the supermarket brands. There are two different sizes available in the range, a 750ml bottle which at the moment has been reduced down from £2.23 to £1.50 in both Asda and Tesco and a 1.2 litre bottle which is £3.35 obviously this means the smaller bottle is alot better value. The size of the bigger bottle has been reduced recently as with a lot of branded product they are reducing how much you get rather than changing the price.
There are a few different fragrances in the range and a couple of new ones have been released in the last couple of months, there is strawberry and lily kisses, blueberry and jasmine twist, poppy and peach, bluebell and bergamot, vanilla and gold iris and melon and lotus flower. I find that these products smell lots stronger than most other fabric conditioners.
I love the packaging of these fabric conditioner all of them are packaged in really bright plastic bottles apart from Vanilla and gold iris, this bottle is bright purple in colour as the fragrance would suggest, melon and lotus flower is bright green, strawberry and lily kisses is pink, poppy and peach is orange and bluebell and bergamot is blue. The lid of the bottle is a screw top cap and matches the colour of the bottle, the lid is also how you dose up your machine,
6-7kg load = 1 capful
4-5kg load = 3/4 capful
I personally only ever use 3/4 of a capful at a time and my washing machine holds 6kg.
The ingredients along with others are, 5-15% Cationic Surfactants ,<5% Perfume, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Amyl Cinnamal and Benzisothiazolinone.
The fabric conditioner claims to be easy iron but I cannot say that I notice a difference in my ironing whether I am using this or not so I cannot back up this claim. The smell of this conditioner is lovely and flowery and nice and sweet, the smell in the bottle is much stronger than when it is on your clothes when it is quite a light fragrance. The fragrance lasts well on your clothing and it scents the house too when you dry indoors which with our usual weathwer returning I am having to do.
I find that my clothes are nice and soft after using this product and it gives me lovely soft towels too which I find quite important with two young children to bath each day. I love the smell of every one of the comfort exhilarations range I have tried although the strawberry one is still my favourite. I will be buying this again when it is on offer.
Summary: Expensive when full price
