Advantages: softens clothes
Disadvantages: expensive
I want some comfort. Yes I want some comfort, something to make my life easy. Comfort easy iron fabric conditioner in its new concentrated bottle manufactured by Lever Faberge offers me that. The blue clean looking bottle with a lovey dovey picture of a woman and a man in their clean white uncreased shirts in a heart shaped picture entices me to think this product will give me good results my husband will love when he puts his freshly laundered white shirt on true love he will gaze at me in an adoring way ……………….. Oh dream on Mary you have been married 29 yrs you know crispy clean white shirts do not work him up. Anyway lured into buying this conditioner let me tell you about it . Lisa and Darren the cloth family teenagers advertise this product. Yes they look soft and cute. I bought the750 bottle of comfort in my local Tesco’s it is widely available. I paid £1.69p for mine expensive methinks but it might be worth it. Right lets give it a try then. I put I capful into the dispensing tray of my washing machine about 35 ml so the bottle should do for somewhere between 20-25 washes so about 6p a wash. The liquid is thick and blues the same blue as the cap. I sniff it is a clean flowery soap smell. Washing machine finished I remove the wet washing and it does have a lingering smell of the conditioner. I hang the washing on the line to dry on a sunny day when its raining I tumble it. . I remove the washing from the line carefully hanging husband’s shirts on a hanger immediately to reduce the ironing anyway . I fold sheets and t-shirts. Yes there is still a very faint smell it is neither a masculine nor a feminine smell just fresh slightly flowery my tee shirts feel soft the shirts too. They are fairly easy to iron (no I do not iron the t shirts) my husband irons his own shirts I find that mine are easy to iron but I find tha
t anyway whatever product I use as I always (well nearly always hang my shirts on a hanger so they do not suffer with too many creases) and I iron mine damp which is much easier. If I were washing for my grandson I would not use this as he has sensitive excma skin and most conditioners irritate it. There are warnings on bottle to keep it out of children’s reach. And caution if you get it in eyes rinse out with plenty of water. Washing finished ironing made easier ?(maybe a little) shirt on husband looking very smart has he that adoring look in his eyes,? no its of to work in a hurry mm there might have been a kiss this morning ,. So shall I buy this conditioner again , yes when its on special offer . Thanks for reading , Mary

- 22/07/04 Hi Mary, isn't it good to be off for the summer now? I've been so busy have not had time for dooyoo for about a month. anyway, am back now and catching up. Great review on comfort. I use it too - but not the easy iron one. I like the lily and rice flower one. I find my clothes don't really need much of an iron with any comfort. |
