Advantages: fantastic all round

Disadvantages: none

I am a sucker for nice smelling fabric conditioners and I'm often found in the supermarket taking the lids off and sniffing away...like a rock star would with a line of cocaine it gives me a secret high as I ponder which one to buy (???).
Someone once told me that you can substitute fabric conditioner in your machine for a few drops of vinegar which does the same job. Sorry but I like my clothes to smell lovely and not fresh..not like a bag of fish and chips!

Now as money is pretty tight in the Supersonic household at the moment (and a lot of other peoples) I opted for a cheaper bottle instead of my usual £2 Lenor.
I have used 'cheap' brands in the past that have been so watery you have to poor the entire contents in with your wash for it to make any difference, so when I saw this Comfort Tropical Burst at only £1.59 for a decent sized 750ml concentrated bottle I thought I'd try it (after the obligatory sniffing of course!)

The bottle is clear and instead of being straight up and down it has kind of a 'wave' to it and kinks in on one side. There is a tear drop shape picture on the front with the Comfort logo and has a picture of a woman looking quite happy..maybe she has sniffed the contents too?! The lid is a bright orange as is the colour of the conditioner and doubles as the measurer, although I never pour in the recommended amount - just about over half to three quarters and it does the job and lasts longer (thus saving money).
On opening the lid you are met by a truly tropical aroma- the only thing I could liken it to is oranges and mangoes (Mmmm).
After using in the machine and hanging my washing out I could smell the tropical aroma and every time I walked past the washing line there was a lovely smell.

Is it any good then?~
Well I was very impressed by the smell as described in the paragraph above but did it leave my clothes soft?
Again it did a great job- my washing was soft and easy to iron, and seemed less creased than before. The smell lingered for days and on opening a drawer or wardrobe you could tell which clothes had been infused with it.

Full marks from me!

Summery~
Will stick to this from now on as it was cheaper than Lenor and I felt a little superior. The smell was wonderful and left clothes less creased.

Summary: Will be most definitely buying this again
