Comfort Fabric Connditioner Sunshiny Days
Advantages: Leaves clothes smelling fresh and feeling softer, Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
Disadvantages: Others may not like the smell!
Comfort is part of the Unilever group whom make a large range of home care brands; this includes cleaning, beauty and food products. You may have seen the Unilever brand advertise recently as they are supporting the Olympic Games 2012. I have quite sensitive skin and also suffer from outbreaks of eczema so I have to be quite careful with what products I used on my skin and what I used to wash my products. I have used the Comfort Concentrate Pure and it was kind to my skin and I also loved the fresh smell the fabric conditioner left my clothes. When me and my boyfriend went out food shopping this week, I decided to try out a different Comfort fabric conditioner.
~ SUNSHINY DAYS ~
I picked up a 3L bottle of the Comfort Sunshiny Days fabric conditioner as it was on offer and I thought it was very good value. I also unscrewed the lid and smelt the product as well and it smelt lovely and fresh. The fabric conditioner comes in a large plastic bottle which has a handle so you can hold the bottle when pouring this into the drawer of you machine. The bottle is a light white colour, but it looks yellow due to the colour of the liquid inside the bottle. The lid on top of the bottle is a yellow colour which matches the colour of the liquid inside. There is a large label on the front of the bottle which has a large sunflower on it with some grass and blue skies. This picture on the label goes very well with the name of the product which is Sunshiny Days. On the back of the bottle there is another large label which has details on how to use the product and what the product contains. It's well worth reading through all this information before using the product.
~ PRICE/AVALIABILITY ~
I purchased the 3L bottle, how-ever you can buy smaller bottles of the fabric conditioner:
The following prices have been taken from www.mysupermarkets.co.uk
* Asda - £4.00 or 2 for £7.00
* Tesco - £5.00 (valid until 12-06-2012) Full price is £6.13
* Sainsburys - £6.13
The fabric conditioner is also available to buy in the following sizes:
* 1.5L (Prices may vary but will cost approximately £3.30)
* 750ml (Prices may vary but will cost approximately £1.00)
~ USING THE PRODUCT ~
For correct instructions for how much of the product to use follow the instructions on the back of the bottle. I normally pour the product straight into the drawer or into the cup and then into the drawer of the washing machine. Although the bottle is quite large and a little heavy, due to the large handle on the side of the bottle this makes it easier to hole and to pour the correct amount out ready for washing. The liquid is a lovely yellow colour which reminds me of summer and it's very runny. I can't really describe the exact smell of the product but it smells really fresh and summery. I have used the fabric conditioner on many different clothing products such as cotton, denim and polyester. After my clothes had been washed and spun as it was a nice day I decided to hang the washing outside to dry. As soon as I started to take the wet washing out from the machine I could smell the lovely fresh scent from the fabric softener. The clothes smelt really fresh and clean. I hung the washing out to dry and as I walked past it once or twice to go the shops I could smell the lovely fresh scent from the washing as it dried. After the clothes had dried and I took them inside to fold up, the smell wasn't as strong as it was when the clothes were wet; how-ever there was still a nice, light fresh fragrance on the clothes. The clothes and towels I had washed also felt really soft as well.
~ OVERALL OPINION ~
When this product is on offer it's very good value and quite often get more than one bottle. This fabric conditioner has to be my favourite scent as it smells so fresh and clean. As well as leaving my clothes smelling lovely, it also left them feeling really soft. The product didn't irritate my skin which was another bonus of using this fabric conditioner. I will continue to use this product and will no doubt buy some more when I run out. In terms of quality I think all the Comfort products are of good quality and I have always been pleased with the results they give. I give this product 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to others.
