Ironing is not one of my favourite past times but as a stay at home wife and mummy at the moment, I feel its only right that I iron one or two of my husbands work shirts now and again, he doesn't ask me to, I do it because I want to but it is still not my favourite task. One of the products that makes it a little easier to do the ironing is this ironing water from Comfort. After I have washed the shirts and hung them out to dry they do get rather wrinkly and and dry and need a bit of moisture on them in order to get the shirts nice and crisp again.

So, why don't you just use regular water you ask? Well, over time if you put regular water in your iron it can cause limescale to build up and reduce the working life of your iron. This Comfort Vaporesse water is specially designed to care for your iron and protect it from limescale so hopefully your iron will last a little longer.

The water comes in a big see through plastic bottle that looks like a bottle of fabric conditioner although its clear obviously. The fragrance is described as, "A fresh olive blossom and cotton fragrance inspired by nature." I like this scent. It is not very strong or overpowering but it just adds a hint of fragrance to your clothes without making them smell. Once the iron has warmed up and you spray the water onto the fabric this is when you can really smell the scent. It sort of infuses the clothes and actually takes away that "ironed" smell you often get with freshly ironed clothes.

The bottle says that by using this ironing water it makes for easier ironing and will smooth away the creases more easily as you glide through the load and I definitely have to agree with that. You pour the ironing water directly into the water reservoir of your iron and spray it on with the little spray button on the iron. I find the water definitely helps with the creases and my husbands shirts have never been crisper. The water does not leave any water marks on my clothes or damage them in any way, I have only had good results with this.

This bottle has a yellow cap on it so you can distinguish the fragrance from some of the others as there are others to choose from. I think a bottle costs in the £2 region and because you really only use a few squirts per clothing item it really does last a long time and in my opinion is a must have product when you do the ironing.
