The candle itself is contained in a thick and heavy opaque white glass jar, the jar then has white flowers and the brand name 'Cowshed' printed on the outside. I'm going to reuse the glass jar when the candle has burnt out either for a tealight, or maybe for a votive candle. The glass jar is really pretty, and a change from the plain glass jars that most scented candles normally come in. The candle itself is white, and it states that it has a burn time of 60 hours. My husband would say that I'm obsessed with candles, and I guess that he's probably right. I always like to have candles lit up in the house every evening, and I go through vast quantities of them. I especially like using scented candles and tealights to fragrance the room. However I am a bit of a skinflint, and I don't normally spend too much on my scented candles. I tend to go through so many that I really can't justify spending a lot on them, if I did I'd probably need to take out a second mortgage! I love walking into a pleasantly fragranced room. I've tried a wide range of room air fresheners, including sensor sprays, plug-ins, gels, aerosols and oil burners, but my favourite way to scent a room is definitely candles. Not only do they release a lingering fragrance, but they also emit a warm, comforting glow. A while ago I was treated to a full body massage. It was heavenly. I relaxed in a warm room and had all the strains and stresses that accompany life as a working mum of five kneaded from tense, shortened muscles that I'd long forgotten I had.
