I'm trying to save money on cleaning products at the moment so have been buying cheaper brands. I chose this Daisy washing up liquid after I had success with the Daisy toilet cleaner, which was cheap but effective. However, I didn't have the same success with the washing up liquid and was quite disappointed in its performance. I do like the cost of the product. It is priced at 67p in Tesco which is a brilliant price. The Fairy equivalent costs £1.85 so is over a pound more. You get 500ml of this for your money. The packaging of the product is pretty good. It comes in a clear bottle filled with bright blue washing up liquid and has a red lid. On the ... Read the complete review

I am always on the look out for a bargain and will give something a try if it might save me a few pennies in the long run and this product was no exception. This is a clear plastic bottle with a red flip top lid that is very easy to use even with wet hands. Just flip the lid and pour some of this on your dishes or under running water. I usually put some of mine under hot water and then a generous squirt on a sponge to help me produce lots of bubbles to make sure the dishes are scrubbed clean. There was a fair amount of bubbles from this washing up liquid but there wasn't too much of a scent but that doesn't really matter as long as it gets my ... Read the complete review

Unfortunately I ran out of my usual washing up liquid this week so had to pick up something else. I was in my local Tesco Metro and had to pick up a bottle of this which was the cheapest on the shelf at 68p. I usually pay £1 for two at Asda but I was desperate. The washing up liquid is a bright blue colour that reminds me of those blue ice lollies that you could get from the corner shop for 5p. It comes in a plastic bottle with a fip top red lid and has a picture of a daisy on the sticky label. The washing up liquid includes antibacterial agents too. When I opened the bottle I found that no immediate smell hit me. I squeezed some liquid into the ... Read the complete review

Daisy dish washing up liquid is available to purchase in Tesco supermarkets as part of their discount brand range. Even prior to the recession I always opted for the cheapest washing up liquid available and my usual brand is Asda's Smartprice which is available for around 34p as non-concentrated liquid. I bought a 500ml sized bottle of Daisy concentrated liquid for 67p and it was the cheapest in store. Daisy comes in a clear recyclable bottle with a removable flip-lid cap. There is a label on the back of the bottle which details the ingredients of the formula in addition to usage instructions and health warnings. These include advice on rinsing hands after ... Whilst wandering around our local branch of Tesco's the other week I noticed a display of 'discount items' not to be confused with the Tesco Value or Tesco Market Value range. The discount range all have a small square flash on them in yellow with the words 'discount brands at Tesco' in red and a £ sign being cut with a pair of scissors. I suppose it is yet another ploy to help us save money or at least make us think that we are saving money - or am I being a bit sceptical? The discount items were mainly in a range called Daisy which I hadn't heard of before but I decided to try the washing up liquid. I purchased the concentrated washing ... Read the complete review
