Introduction:

A dishwasher is just one of those things I can't seem to live without! I can't imagine having to ash everything up by hand, it seems like it would take so much time! The problem is though, that we get through so many tablets the price can really add up if you are not careful and shop around. I often buy premium brands when they are on special offer, which works out better value, but the other day when I went to Tesco, there were none on special offer and these daisy tablets caught my eye. I did a quick price comparison and they were close to 10p per tablet which works out as good value in my opinion. I decided to give them a go an hoped all my utensils came out clean as I dreaded having to re-wash everything with dried on dirt!

Price and availability:

Daisy, the brand, is exclusive to Tesco. It was introduced to give extra choice in the bottom end of the market, as previously there was just Tesco Value (which has since become every day value). I think a lot of people felt self conscious about buying Tesco Value products, and this is a more subtle way of being a cheap skate (!) in my opinion! I have seen the Daisy brand in all sizes of Tesco store, so relatively easy to track down.

Actual product:

The dishwasher tablets come in a cardboard box (which is 100% recyclable). Inside the box comes powdery tablets wrapped in a plastic sleeve, which needs to be removed before you use them. Each tablet gives one whole dishwasher cycle.

Conclusion:

I found no downsides at all to using these bargain dishwasher tablets. They left all the washing perfectly clean. Left no build up, no damage and no scratches. They had only positive effects and I have no complaints what so ever. I have used about 4 packets of these now and I can honestly say I haven't seen my glasses fade or deteriorate any quicker than I would expect. I would 100% recommend these. I think Tesco should promote these more!
