Introduction: A dishwasher is just one of those things I can't seem to live without! I can't imagine having to ash everything up by hand, it seems like it would take so much time! The problem is though, that we get through so many tablets the price can really add up if you are not careful and shop around. I often buy premium ...  Read the complete review

Any regular reader of my reviews will know that I try and save money where possible and dishwasher tablets are one item where I buy as cheaply as possible. I tend to purchase the Tesco value ones as they are the cheapest around, but recently I had to purchase the Daisy tablets from Tescos as they were out of stock of my usual ones. ...  Read the complete review

When we first got our dishwasher I would buy the most expensive tablets, thinking they were better quality and would give good results. Frankly, I wasn't impressed. Glasses became cloudy after a while and the dishwasher kept breaking down for some reason. Anyway, as time went on and I had to consider my budget I decided to try some of ...  Read the complete review

In the past, I have always paid out for premium dishwashing powder/tablets, (probably mistakenly) believing that it would protect my crockery and the expensive dishwasher in the process. However, after my parents experience of using Finish for years and ending up with large dishwasher repair bills and 'misty' glasses, I decided to end ...  Read the complete review

We've been using these tablets for a while now since we've been on a bit of an economy drive and have tried to cut back (but not cut back on the use of the dishwasher!) They cost about £4 for a box of 40 which makes them 10p per wash. I always used to think that 10p a wash was a good price so this was my benchmark for if another brand ...  Read the complete review

Staying with my friend at the moment I now have first hand of using a dishwasher on a daily basis! Actually I'm so addicted to it now that I have it on 2/3 times a day due to all the mess me and her four dogs make and can't imagine going back to where I normally live and not having a dishwasher again! However the one thing ...  Read the complete review

Dirty dishes. I have a deep aversion to them. Seriously, my aversion to the dirty dishes and the washing thereof is almost clinical in its pathology. So much so, that when we decided to buy our own house, I insisted I had to have a dishwasher. Armed with the facts regarding the savings of power and water that are made when running afull ...  Read the complete review

I have always had an aversion to 'value' dishwasher products after buying some own brand tablets a few years ago that left my glasses streaky and my crockery greasy so have always gone for branded products when on offer. However, a couple of weeks ago there were none of my usual items on offer and I just really couldn't justify spending ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Daisy Dishwasher Tablets

I find that this product although much cheaper than the leading btands it also is much better as it seems more thourough in it cleaning power and does not leave streaks.Although it is called 5in1 it gives the impression that the tablets contain other ingredients which abobiates the need to use Salt or liquids that elimnate streking and helps with drying. The 5in1 title is unexplainded and it now occurs to me that I might damge my dishwaer by not adding these other items? The product does not give this info when purchasing or on the box.

I am enjoying the influx of reviews on supermarket own brand products at the moment. Like everyone else my weekly shop seems to have become a lot more expensive and its good to know what is and isn't worth trying (notably cheap toilet rolls - not worth trying according to the reviews here). I normally use fairy for ...  Read the complete review
