I am always on the look out for a bargain and will give something a try if it might save me a few pennies in the long run and this product was no exception. This is a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid that is very easy to use even with wet hands. Just flip the lid and pour some of this on your dishes or under running water. I usually put some of mine under hot water and then a generous squirt on a sponge to help me produce lots of bubbles to make sure the dishes are scrubbed clean. There was a fair amount of bubbles from this washing up liquid but there wasn't too much of a scent but that doesn't really matter as long as it gets my dishes ... Read the complete review

I am an avid bargain hunter and am always looking for a way to save a few pennies. A few weeks ago I went to tescos to do the weekly shop and as I went to get my usual brand of washing up liquid. An almost identical product caught my eye. The product was Daisy original washing up liquid and at only 57p for 500ml I was quick to plonk a bottle in my trolley and hope it wasn't too good to be true. Daisy washing up liquid comes in a clear plastic bottle with a red flip top lid and a greenish label with a daisy flower and the words in bold red writing. It's quite simple but this means you can see the product inside the bottle. The washing up ... Read the complete review

We've just purchased this product via Tesco's internet shopping service as the product we normally use was out of stock. I've used it for a few weeks and so far would have to say I do not recommend it. I find I have to use far more of this product than similar washing up liquids just to get dishes clean. I'm not only referring to dishes that are normally tough to clean (eg casserole dishes, or baking trays where often food is stuck to the cookware) but just to normal plates and cutlery. I find I have to use a lot of the product to get products at all clean, and even when washing fairly clean cutlery or crockery I have to change the water and add more washing ... While conducting my weekly shop in Tesco I browsed upon the washing up liquid aisle. I usually purchase a more basic washing up liquid so long as it is cost effective and lasts a considerable amount of time. I was therefore drawn to Daisy Washing up Liquid, priced at just 85p for a rather large 1 litre bottle. The bottle itself is rather simple but not unattractive. It is tall and bulky in appearance, transparent with a red nozzle at the top. This bottle is made from recyclable plastic. The label bears the Discount Brands at Tesco logo suggesting that this is made solely for Tesco. Towards the bottom of the label is the Daisy logo and a pretty ... Read the complete review

Daisy Washing Up Liquid 500ml ***What's it like*** I can't be alone in noticing that Tesco has massively increased it's value range of products by introducing the brand 'Daisy' (with red and yellow discount brands logo plastered on the packaging) to it's inventory. One thing that intrigues me is if it is possible to produce quality products at a cheaper price - then why haven't they just done it before? Oh, I know they weren't as desperate for our custom back then! Anyway in the interests of research I donned my marigolds and set about washing the breakfast dishes (as the dishwasher was full and I didn't have the energy ... Read the complete review
