Advantages: Easy to use, easy to open, good price, works well.
Disadvantages: Little thinner than Domestos and other brands.
Bleach is something that I am not stuck on expensive brands. I will try most things, particularly if they are cheap. My reason for purchasing this Daisy thick bleach was because it was 55p and considerably less than Domestos and other brands.
This Daisy bleach comes in quite a standard bottle. This is a thick plastic bottle with a child proof cap. You need to press down and turn simultaneously to remove the cap so this should stop children being able to open this and it means that this bottle is airtight so no bleach will leak out. I keep my bleach in my kitchen cupboard with lots of other items and so I certainly do not want bleach leaking and ruining my kitchen cupboard. This bottle has an angled neck that allows you to use it to run around underneath the rim of your toilet if you want to.
My main reason for purchasing this bleach is to run around the rim of my toilet either last thing at night or first thing in the morning. I also use it for a quick refresh if we have guests coming over. This is not the thickest bleach that I have ever used and so it does run down the bowl a lot quicker than Domestos. Generally I use a different cleaner to keep my toilet spotless and I do that at least twice a week. This means that the bleach is just helping to ensure that my toilet is kept as germ free as possible. I do use quite a generous squirt of this bleach and it does seem to work well leaving my bowl looking clean and my toilet not smelling bad.
I have also used this bleach to clean my kitchen worktops after a cooking session. I usually use a damp J-Cloth with some of this neat poured on and then I scrub my worktops and surfaces before wiping them over afterwards with the same damp cloth rinsed lots under the tap. I then leave them to dry naturally overnight before I start making a mess again the next day!
This bleach doesn't smell like perfumes or flowers it just smells of bleach really. A scent that is quite strong but makes me feel like the surface I have just tackled is clean and free of germs.
I have been really pleased with this bleach. The 55p price tag is fantastic and I will definitely purchase this again in the future. A bottle of this lasted me a few weeks and I would have no hesitations when picking this up again in Tesco.
Summary: A fantastic bleach from the Daisy range at Tesco.
