Introduction:

In these times of recession, when peoples wages are not necessarily increasing as fast as household bills, more and more people are looking for ways to save money on day to day items. Tesco have a huge range of Daisy products which are like an economy brand, I view it as one step up from Tesco value. Bleach is one thing that you need, and you cannot avoid buying if you want to keep your house clean, I do believe that you should try and save money where you can, for the more important and fun things in life.

Price and availability:

As far as I am aware Daisy products are only available in Tesco. Luckily, there are Tescos in virtually every town and even village now in the UK. The bleach price fluctuates ever so slightly, but I have never seen it (yet) rise above 70 pence. I have seen it for sale in Large Tesco extras, and small Tesco metros.

Actual product:

The product simply is thick bleach with no additives. It is not watered down as you may expect from a cheap product, and has no extra flavourings or scents. In other words, it is not a jazzed up product, but plain and simply does it's job. The real advantage to this product over the cheaper everyday value version is the bottle that it comes in. The Tesco every day value bleach comes with an open neck which is wide, so it is harder to direct the product. The daisy bleach has a screw top cap, with a nozzle which means you can easily direct the product to the area of need, without wasting excess bleach. It also makes it safer as you have less chance of getting it on your person by accident, or god forbid, the carpet!

The bleach is fully effective, it completely cleans my toilets and sinks. As far as I can tell it effectively kills germs, it removes odours, and removes limescale and any other build up. I cannot tell any difference between this bleach, and the more expensive brands.

Conclusion:

I would thoroughly recommend this bleach, in fact, I can't see any reason why I would not continue to buy this in future. The price is good, the quality of the product is good, it is fully fit for purpose, and the containment it comes in makes it easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product.

As with all bleach, avoid getting this into contact with skin.
