Advantages: Good brand

Disadvantages: Claims to be odourless but isn't

Dettol is a name that conjures up a feeling of trust and this spray does seem to make some grand claims that we have to take their word for. 'Kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses', a very precise and very impressive claim. Are we becoming unhealthily bacteria phobic? Perhaps these sprays prey a little on our germphobia.

The spray comes in a 750 ml clear bottle with a trigger spray. At £1.75 per bottle it is reasonable and does last as the spray is a light mist. It claims to have no odour but it does have a faint but not unpleasant smell.

Intended for use on worksurfaces, chopping boards, some baby items and sinks/bathrooms. Spray on and wipe. Quite a list of things not to use it on but common sense would let you know not to use on fabrics etc. Makes a point of stating not to use it on babies bottles.

Useful, not foamy, no bleach, pleasant scent, good brand and a good price.
