Advantages: Removed all black marks from my bathroom

Disadvantages: Strong bleach smell

I bought the Dettol Mould and Mildew Remover, after it was recommended by a friend. She had told me how this bottle really works and that she was really pleased with the results. Mould had gathered under our bath mats and had left black marks on our travertine tiles. I had tried other, cheaper solutions but nothing seemed to be budging the marks.

I bought the bottle for about £2.00 from the supermarket and you can turn the nozzle to an on or off position, so it is also handy to have when you have children around the house.

I sprayed the solution on the black marks, left them for half an hour and then washed off and dried the area. I was amazed at the results, there was not one spot of black left on the area. It is definately worth paying the extra for this bottle. Dettol is a brand you can trust and one bottle has lasted us about six months.

This product can be used on White grouting, ceramic tiles, stainless steel, chrome, plastics, walls and acrylic bath tub and shower.

The only disadvantage with this product is that it has a really strong bleach smell, so you will have to open the windows for a little while afterwards, however, as this is a product that really works, I think the smell is worth it. You will not have to use the product often so it is bearable.
