I am not particularly brand loyal when it comes to household cleaners and tend to buy whatever is on offer. I will often pick such products up in discount shops as they tend to be more reasonably priced. Whilst shopping in my local Poundland I noticed this Domestos Bleach spray at just a quid I thought it was well worth a go.
Domestos Bleach Spray comes in a blue trigger spray bottle, the sticker on the front shows the brand logo and product name along with a few pictures of the surfaces it is suitable for. Domestos claim this is a multipurpose cleaner which "kills bacteria, viruses and mould, dead".
General information is given on the back including ingredients, instructions for use and cautions, all of which should be read thoroughly before use.
Firstly, the trigger spray is really easy and comfortable to hold and it has never slipped from my hands during use, even when they have been wet. It delivers a nice even spritz of cleaner and doesn't unnecessarily soak the area.
I have been using this spray for a few weeks now and have been really impressed with it, in fact I have purchased a second bottle, so I now have one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. I use the spray on my work surfaces before and after preparing food, it cleans really well even on stubborn marks without leaving unpleasant streaks behind. I also use it to clean my kitchen sink area and my bin. The spray is suitable for use in the bathroom too, although I tend to use it mostly for the toilet seat and lid as I have a separate cleaner for my bath.
The spray has a very strong bleach smell, I actually quite like it and think it smells clean, my partner cannot stand it though and uses a different product whilst cleaning. So, if you really dislike the smell of bleach this one probably wont be for you.
Domestos claim that the spray kills germs, bacteria and mould, obvioustly I cannot be 100% sure that these claims are true and so we just have to take the manufacturers word for it.
As I mentioned earlier this is a multi purpose cleaner and can therefore be used on a variety of surfaces, although there are places it cannot be used too. I suggest reading the bottle thoroughly to check suitability first or spraying a small amount on a inconspicuous area first if you are unsure. However, I have had no problems whilst using the bleach.
I have been really impressed with Domestos Bleach Spray and think at just £1 it is excellent value, its full RRP is £2 which seems a little pricey to me.
I bought this last week for blitzing my bathroom. It cost me £3 for 750ml in Tesco.
The bleach comes in a spray bottle with a trigger dispenser. This bleach only comes in the Domestos original sent.
The bleach can be used all over the home including in the kitchen and the bathroom. The spray is suitable for use on most surfaces including; stainless steel, enamel, ceramic, porcelain and painted wood there is a warning if it is used on old enamel to test on a small inconspicuous place.
The bleach kills 99.9% of germs including listeria and e-coli.
The main reason I bought this bleach spray was to clean the doors in my house and the bathroom. I have white doors in my house and for some odd reason they have stains on that no multi purpose cleaner will shift. This spray gives even coverage, as it is bleach caution needs to be taken when spraying to avoid fabrics which could end up being bleached. This did an excellent job of whitening up my doors and was much easier to use in a spray form rather than as a normal liquid.
I have also used this bleach to clean the grout in between my bathroom tiles. My tiles are black and the white grout really shows up dirt, I don't like just using a grout whitening pen as the tiles get wet from the shower and bath so I used this and a toothbrush not only did it whiten the grout but it removed stains.
I have also found this useful for cleaning the outer part of the toilet. I buy bathroom cleaner but I always worry that it isn't killing germs outside of the toilet and on the seat especially now that my 2 year old is toilet trained and likes to go to the big toilet by herself. I have piece of mind knowing that this kills germs.
I would recommend this spray it has many uses around the home. Bleach is useful in lots of cleaning instances in the home and this is more convenient than a traditional bottle.
Top marks for this it's just a shame there aren't different scents.
I have been using Domestos Spray Bleach for a number on months now. I wanted something that would keep our kitchen sides bacteria free especially with a toddler in the house. Domestos stood out from others due to it's well known brand name and the fact it has the motto on the front of the bottle "Kills bacteria, viruses and mould. Dead." As well as the kitchen i discovered it was also suitable for many other surfaces throughout the house.
I generally buy my cleaning products from my local Morrisons. At the time the bottle coast around £1. For this price you get a 500ml bottle. The bottle is dark blue in clour. It has a spray nossle on the top and the neck of the bottle has clever indentations so it fits the grasp of a hand when spraying. The nossle on top as a lock when turned.
Using it is easy. The handle on the nossle operates with minimal effort. It generally needs a few sprays and then a simple wipe with a damp cloth. I tend to allow a minute or two before wiping to allow the bleach to really cut into any grease or mould. This way it makes it easier to wipe away. On the back of the bottle it assures you it is 'suitable for use on food preparation sufaces.' This put my mind at ease as I was worried about using bleach on surfaces where we would be preparing meals. As well as the kitchen it can be used on most surfaces. I now use it in the bathroom on most occasions. We also have cats so I have also been using it on our window ledges after they have been up there. It may not be as strong as your regular bleach as it does not cut into the paint. However I usually wipe away quickly after spraying to prevent any incidents like this occuring.
I aim to use Dosmestos spray bleach as much as i can throughout the house. It has a fairly strong smell so you have to be aware children and animals are not around when using it. But it does give that scent that your house is smelling clean and fresh. It also gives you the knowledge that whatever surface you use it on, that also has been left hygienically clean.
We don't have a cooker hood in our kitchen so the tiles get greasy quite quickly so I wanted something which would easily remove the grease without having to spend hours scrubbing at the tiles. I spotted the domestos bleach spray in my local pounland so decided to give it a try at such a small price. The bottle is 500ml, its blue with a white and red spray top. The nozzle can be twisted to on/off to avoid any accidental sprays. The label states that it kills germs, bacteria, viruses and mould. It also says its safe to use on stainless steel, enamel, ceramic, porcelain and painted wood.
I found it really easy to use, there's indentations on the neck of the bottle which makes it easy to grip. I sprayed it straight onto the tiles, it sprayed out evenly and covered quite a large area. I gave it a quick wipe over just to spread out the product to stop it dripping down the wall and left it a few minutes. I then wiped over with a wet sponge to find all the grease coming away from the tiles very easily. I repeated this once again as there was still a bit of grease left but not much and it all came away easily to leave sparkling clean tiles. The smell was quite strong of bleach so you might not want any children in the room if your using quite a lot like I was but I didn't mind the smell myself. You should wear rubber gloves when using this as it can sting if you get it in any cuts and it can dry your hands out.
I now use this product all the time in numerous places throughout the house. I was weary using it on painted wood like it states thinking it might be too strong and peel off the paint but I've had no trouble with it so far. I have two dogs who come running from the back garden through the kitchen and one has long hair so means he splatters mud all over the skirting boards as he goes but using this spray it can be easily cleaned. I also use it on the kitchen worktops, cupboards, sink, taps, bin and in the bathroom. It leaves everything sparkling clean and smells clean too. I also used this to clean all the garden furniture too when summer came.
I would definitely recommend the product especially at such a low price. It lasts me over a month too even though I use it daily.

The product I am reviewing is Domestos Multi-usage Bleach in the spray formula. The bleach spray can be used on a range of different surfaces including food preparation surfaces, kitchen, and bathroom and on many other washable surfaces. It can also be used on Stainless Steel, Enamel, Ceramic, Porcelain and Painted Wood. This product claims to leave surfaces brilliantly clean and with it's easy and convenient spray it means you can give your home a good clean whenever it needs it. The product comes in a dark blue bottle which has a trigger spray. The bottle is the typical Domestos colour and has a label on the front of the bottle stating the brand of the product and what the product is. On the back of the bottle it gives you some information about the product and how it should be used. It shows you some pictures on areas where you can use the bleach such as kitchen draining boards and the toilet basin. The trigger spray to the bottle is mainly red in colour and goes well with the dark blue bottle. Due to the slim design of the neck of the bottle this makes it easy to hold when spraying different surfaces to clean. I actually purchased this to use at work as we had just run out of cleaning spray and I wanted something good that would clean the old enamel sink in the kitchen area as it was looking rather grubby and dirty. The toilet could also do with a good wipe down as well and I thought this would be the perfect thing to clean the toilets with as well. I could also use this on the surfaces in the kitchen as well to ensure they stayed clean and germ free. The product cleans bacteria, viruses and mould so would be perfect for using on different surfaces at work and also around the home.

I purchased this from my local Pound land for yes . . You guessed it £1.00 which I thought was very reasonable and also good value as I expect it costs more if purchased from a supermarket such as Tesco or Sainsbury's. The product comes in a 500ml or 750ml bottle.
Using the Product

For old or worn enamel it states to test an area first, which is what I did. When using the product for the first time you need to turn the nozzle to the on position which means the product will now be released when the trigger is pulled down. As I pulled the trigger down a fine mist of the bleach landed on the enamel sink. I sprayed it a few times around the sink as the sink was rather large and also very dirty. As it was dirty I decided to spray and then leave it for a good 5/10 minutes before coming back to scrub it and rinse the bleach away. There was the obvious bleach smell to this product which can get overpowering in small areas so you may want to open the window to air the area out. I came back to the sink approximately 10mins later or less and then using gloves on my hands scrubbed the sink. The dirt was coming off the sink very easily and it was already looking much cleaner than it had done before. After I finished scrubbing I gave the sink a final rinse and looked at the results. The sink was so much cleaner than it was before and due to the slight bleach smell it also smelt cleaner as well. I was really impressed that the bleach had managed to clean the old enamel sink that looked like it was beyond the cleaning stage. I have also used the spray on the outside of the toilet basin which was a little dirty and on the toilet seats as well and this makes the toilet really clean and shiny. As well as using it in these areas I also use it on the worktops in the kitchen. I normally spray this directly onto the work surface in the kitchen and using a damp cloth to wipe the surface down. I find that the spray leaves a number of different surfaces looking clean and shiny and due to the bleach smell it leaves them smelling clean as well.

I did have high hopes of this product when I purchased it, especially as it's a Domestos brand which is well known and has been around for a good number of years. In terms of the product cleaning I think it does a fantastic job and is much better than some of these other cleaning products that are available to purchase. Although the product does have the typical bleach smell, I think this does give a clean feeling to the area that it has been used on. In terms of value I think the product was very good value for a 500ml and I would definitely go to my local Pound Shop to purchase it again. As I had the chance to test the product in my work place I have now decided to also purchase this for the home as I am so impressed with the way it cleans and leaves surfaces. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

I'm reviewing Domestos Spray Bleach.
The one I have is 500mls,but I believe there are 750ml bottles available.
Mine cost £1 in Poundland & even in the supermarkets it rarely costs much more than that & is worth every penny.
It's suitable for use on just about all kitchen surfaces, including those used to prepare food . It claims to kill bacteria, viruses & moulds.
Disinfectant, chlorine based bleaching agent & perfume.
Perfume ? Really ? Hmmm.......... Just smells of bleach to me,but that suits me fine because I love the smell of freshly bleached surfaces & dislike overly perfumed cleaners in the kitchen.
The bottle shape is well designed for gripping & ease of use.
Why I bought it.
For use in the kitchen as an alternative to bottled thick pouring bleach.
I thought it might be rather handier than pouring bleach into a basin of water or directly onto the surface, since I often misjudge that & tip more than I need .....oops ! This is a MUCH better idea. A gentle squeeze of the trigger releases as much or as little as you need for the job on hand and I'm a total convert.
Not just so great on stubborn stuff like burned in food spillage on the cooker top,but let's be honest here, very little shifts that kind of thing without SOME amount of elbow grease. So I'm not going to take away a star over that. Even for soaking dish cloths it is fine. Just squish (that's a technical term) a few squishes into the basin/bowl of water, add the cloth well spread out & then a final squish on the top of the cloth in the water. Does the job just fine .
Despite the small size I find it lasts well because you are just using a light misting on a surface rather than a great big glug-glug (another technical term....do keep up guys!) sloshed from a bottle. So it is a standard in my basket these days for kitchen & bathroom use and I highly recommend it.
Another MASSIVE plus is that I have NEVER yet had a leaky one. I've bought other cheapo brands for light use in the bathrooms & a few have leaked from the trigger area.Really annoying till you remember to watch out for it. In fact I keep a spare empty Domestos Spray bottle & transfer leaky cheapo sprays into that because I know it is more reliable.
Environmentally I daresay bleach is considered a no-no & environmentalists might be disgusted at it being recommended by me,but I feel that the fact that so little is used makes this spray just a tad more acceptable than pouring copious amounts around & that bleach is a necessary evil at times.
So ,would I recommend it ? Yes.definitely.
I hope this was helpful to someone & thank you for reading.
When I was growing up I don't remember my mum having lots of products to clean with. Money back then was tight and we didn't have all the cleaning product choices we are overwhelmed with now and my Mum always seemed to use bleach for everything which is probably why I'm now such a fan of the stuff.
This spray bleach I bought in Poundland costing of course just a pound as you would expect it to and I bought it because I thought it would cut out the need to have this that and the other to clean my home with but also because Domestos is a brand I trust.
I am currently cleaning my flat out and my stuff due to moving and I bought three bottles of this for me and a couple of my mates to use to tackle the state of my home!
This comes in a dark blue bottle plastic bottle with a white and red coloured trigger action sprayer to the top of it with a handy on and off switch type of thing to it. on the front of the bottle we are told that it is Domestos Spray Bleach, Multipurpose Cleaner 'Kills Bacteria, Viruses And Mould Dead' and then on the back of the bottle other information stated tells us a bit more about the product, instructions for use are given and the ingredients it contains are listed, the size is stated which in this case is 500ml and contact details for the manufacturer are given as well (Unilever). Its a nice robust and informative bottle this one which is very simple to use indeed.
Well this is a thin clear, bleach smelling liquid is of course and a multipurpose spray and all you do is spray with it and wipe. Its suitable to be used in the kitchen, bathroom and on many washable surfaces including stainless steel, enamel, ceramic, porcelain and even on painted wood though you do need to avoid carpets and textiles as of course as this is a bleach afterall!
We used this pretty much everywhere. We were not told to use gloves on the bottle so we didn't and our skin was fine and we went to work on kitchen surfaces, in kitchen cupboards, the hob and wiped down the stainless steel sink and tiles and so on. I even wiped marks off my laminate floor with this and sprayed some in cups and added water to it to remove tea and coffee stains and then just thoroughly rinsed them out after wards. My bathroom toilet, bath and sink all got cleaned with this, even my mirrored medicine cabinet got a wipe over and i cleaned all my skirting boards and my wooden tables in the living room with it as well. One of my friends even wiped over a dirty window with it and it gave no smears at all.
It really is as simple as spray and wipe it off, on my hob though which was crusty and on dirtier areas we just left if a couple of minutes then wiped it off.
This left everything looking and feeling clean and sparkling and we all thought it was fantastic. I not only felt that things were clean but this does kills bacteria and the likes and left things smelling fresher but not in a harsh way as bleach sometimes can and it didn't seem to upset my four hamsters or my kitten either which was a slight concern to me.
This gets a massive thumbs up from me as its a one stop product really and suitable for so many cleaning jobs and from now on I am converted to this and will be stocking up for my new place too! Its simply excellent quality and so effective!
Available in all good supermarkets and in Poundland and this likes.

This is a review of domestos spray bleach. It comes in a 750ml bottle shaped like most spray cleaning products and it is listed on tesco online for £2.75. This is quite expensive i feel, especially when you can get shop own brand versions for around the one pound mark. The bottle is blue and claims to kill germs and clean. The back of bottle has a list of precautions and instructions for using to clean door handles, bins, kitchen surfaces, tiles, sinks, baths, and toilet surfaces, so its a pretty versitile product.
I was given this product by a client to clean her house the other day. I've seen it in shops before but i have always been rather put off by the high price. The bottle has a similar safety nozzle which you have to twist into the on position. Then you just spray and wipe where you wish to clean. I used it in the kitchen to clean the worktop and sink/draining board, and then in the bathroom to clean the sink, bath and the toilet flush/seat/sides. Obviously this is a bleac product, but the first thing i noticed was the extremley strong bleach smell. Unlike other products such a flash or dettol no attempt has been made to cover up the bleach smell with any sort of fragrance. Cleaning wise the products works effectively and left all surfaces looking clean and shiney.
Overall this is a good product if you want reassurance with killing germs. Personally i probably wouldn't buy it because i feel its a bit expensive and i also prefer my cleaning products at home to have a bit of a fragrance to them.
Domestos Trigger Spray with Bleach is a cleaning product I swear by and I would not be without. It was my other half who first found this as it was on special offer again in Home Bargains.
Domestos is a brand I really trust but I was initially worried this might be too harsh and strong for just general everyday cleaning around the home.
The strong blue plastic container has a nozzle action and the liquid is released in a nice fine mist. The smell is very strong and has that overpowering smell of neat bleach but I quite like the smell as it makes me think I am actually killing those nasty germs and bugs.
The bottle is easy to keep hold of even when wet due to the shape of the top of the bottle and the trigger works very well.
Instructions say not to use it on aluminium or linoleum but I have used it all around the kitchen and bathroom surfaces and it gives a great clean streak free clean on everything I have used it on. Its best to wait a little while before wiping over with a damp cloth I find, just to give the ingredients time to work.
It's not cheap at £2.75 for a 750ml bottle but you don't need to use much and a little does go a long way. It is best to use protective gloves when using this though as it is quite harsh and can sting the skin especially if you have any scratches or cuts. If it does make contact with the skin make sure to wash thoroughly afterwards.
A fantastic reliable product which I do really recommend.

===Why this spray===
Even though I have a shelf full of cleaning sprays and creams as revealed in a few of my recent reviews I can't pass by what I think is a bargain when I see one. I saw this bottle of Domestos Spray bleach available for a pound in Poundland recently and having a very specific job in mind that I wanted to use this for and being familiar with the Domestos brand having used the bleach of the same name in the past I ended up buying a bottle and added it to my ever growing collection of sprays and cleaners.
What caught my eye about this product is the claims that it kills bacteria, viruses and mould and as I wanted something to clean the exterior of my PVC doors and window frames of my caravan I was looking for a product that could tackle a build up of grime and insect detritus. Spiders, flies and all sorts of creepy crawlies seem to be attracted to life at the seaside and as my caravan is located near to the sea-front and situated by a large hedgerow there seems to be insects constantly flying around. This factor combined with the rather inclement weather we seem to get on the coast means that exteriorly my caravan takes a bit of a battering and having double glazed doors and windows with white PVC frames they often look grubby and need a good clean every now and again.
Domestos Spray Bleach is an multi-purpose cleaner designed to be used on all hard surfaces around your home, the product claims to leave surfaces 'brilliantly and hygienically clean' and is suitable for use on food preparation areas. It can be used on stainless steel, enamel, ceramic, porcelain and painted wood and as I was soon to discover it also cleans PVC to perfection too. I trust the Domestos brand name and whilst this might not be the most pleasant smelling cleaning product available to buy it certainly is amongst the most effective I have ever used.
The spray is easily administered from the nozzle and can be aimed directly at the surface that needs cleaning, for me this meant I sprayed a few bursts of the cleaner directly onto my door and window frames and using a clean and damp cloth I worked the solution over the surface of the PVC. It does smell of bleach, Domestos haven't tried to mask the odour in any way and whilst I don't think its an attractive scent it is diluted down somewhat by the formulation of this liquid cleaner. As a cleaner it is incredibly effective and easily brought off the dirt and debris that were on my frames and left behind a reassuring shine and a just-cleaned smell. I wouldn't use this indoors in my kitchen if I'm being honest, I don't think the smell of the product is particularly pleasant and I do prefer either lemon-based cleaners or the ones that contain Febreeze in the area where I cook, however as an anti-bacterial cleaner it would be something I spray on the interior of my toilet and will end up replacing the toilet cleaner I already own once I have used up the product I am currently using.
For really tough jobs I think this would be a good choice of product to use and a little does go along way, I barely used a quarter of the bottle on all the frames at my caravan and I think that this is a great addition to the range of cleaners that are already available. For a pound there's very little to complain about and if this is available in a Poundland near you then I would definitely recommend its purchase even if it's used just to spray down your loo or to wipe over cutting boards or an indoor bin. It's a no-nonsense cleaner, Domestos haven't tried to make it into something it's not by attempting to mask its smell, simply put it is a bleach spray that gives fantastic results and will be a product that I buy regularly and is something that I would recommend to other people.
Five stars from me, it tackled the job I specifically bought it for with ease and gave me fantastic results.
Thanks for reading my review, please note that this also appears on ciao under my username.
== Domestos Bleach Spray Cleaner==
I do love a good bleach spray to give everywhere a really nice clean look about it. I find it especially useful for the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the spray works wonders at getting rid of any unwanted mould marks from the bathroom tiles too. The only trouble is I am really clumsy with the stuff and I have so many of my clothes ruined from getting the spray onto them.
This Domestos Spray is in Poundland at the moment and has been for ages. I can't say I have seen it anywhere else because Morrison's only seem to stock their own brand and occasionally the Flash bleach spray. The shops own brands never seem as potent as the branded ones and for that reason I do always opt foe the Flash bottle.
Having tried this now for two consecutive bottles I must say that it is a good household product. It perhaps it not as good as the Flash spray but it does do a better job than the stores own version of the stuff whilst being at a better price than the Flash.
This Domestos Bleach really brings up the kitchen sink to a great shine and I really can't fault it for the cleaning ability although with Flash I find it doesn't even need any working in to the areas I am cleaning where as this product does seem to like a bit of encouragement with a dish brush or the like.
The smell of this spray is really strong but this is only to be expected with this type of product and it really doesn't differ in smell to that of the stores own or indeed the Flash one.
I like to leave my kitchen sponge and dish brush in a small amount of bleach overnight to make sure than all the germs are killed off and the sponge looks clean and fresh. This spray does just as well as Flash on this score and leaves everything clean and new looking.
All in all as far as bleach sprays goes this is a good one. The bottle is a good enough size at 750 ml to last a long while and the spray of the bottle itself is strong and sturdy and in the couple of bottles I have had I have yet to encounter any difficulties with the packaging itself.
Its got to be a top score of 5 out of 5 stars for this spray bleach as it does its job very well and can also be picked up at a very affordable price.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
On a recent trip to Poundland, I found a shelf full of Domestos Bleach Spray, obviously a pound a bottle, and seeing as I have just moved into a new place, I needed to stock up on some cleaning products and thought this would be a perfect item for my kitchen and bathroom.
The spray comes in a blue bottle, made from some type of hardened plastic. The spray component of this bottle is white and red, and on the front of the bottle is the Domestos label, and on the back is some usage instructions and safety warnings, as this products does quite blatantly contain bleach.
I found that this spray comes out nice and easily, and for each spray you get a good amount of bleach. I have always liked to use bleach products to clean my home with, as I think it is a more hygenic way to clean, and I just feel better about using it. I have found this bleach spray to be perfect for cleaning my home, it removes all dirt and stains in the kitchen, and even removes limescale and soap scum in the bathroom. It has not damaged any surface in my home, nor caused any discoloration of anything.
I did expect this product to have a stronger bleach smell then it actually does, so I was surprised when the bleach smell was actually quite mild. Don't get me wrong, you can still smell the bleach, but it is not over powering like some bleach cleaners can be. A little of this spray goes a long way, so it does last for ages. I clean with it every day, and I do not go lightly on the cleaning, yet I still have not even used a quarter of the bottle a month after buying it!
As I said earlier, you can buy this cleaner in Poundland, but if you do not have a poundland near to you, it can also be bought in most supermarkets but will cost you more than a pound a bottle. I do believe this bleach spray actually comes in two size bottles, so if you do some hefty amounts of cleaning, it may be more worth you getting the larger bottle.
I totally recommend Domestos Bleach Spray, as it really does the job well with little effort required on your part and it can be bought for a brilliant price in the right place. Please remember this is bleach, so do not allow contact with clothes, rinse well after use and keep out of reach of children and pets.
I'm slightly paranoid about germs in my kitchen, particularly with 3 young children around.
I also have baby bottles to sterilise and formula to prepare and have to be sure that all the work surfaces are spotlessly clean, to keep the baby bottles germ free. I've been using Domestos spray bleach for a while now and have been impressed with the results.
The bleach comes in a 750ml spray bottle, which is about 11 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. It's royal blue in colour with a white and red trigger spray at the top. The trigger spray can be turned on and off, which makes it reasonably child proof.
The label on the front of the bottle has the Domestos logo and states that the bleach kills bacteria, viruses and mould, dead, with some little pictures of a door handle, a bin and a sink.
There is a label on the back of the bottle with more product information. The spray is safe to use on stainless steel, enamel, ceramics, porcelain and painted wood surfaces. I have a granite kitchen worktop and find it cleans it very effectively, cutting through grease quickly.
To use the product, you simply spray it onto the surface you wish to clean and then wipe it away. For tough stains, you need to leave the spray for a minute before wiping.
The spray itself is clear and has a very strong bleach smell. I can't say it smell particularly pleasant, but it does smell clean.
On worksurfaces, it breaks down grease and stains very quickly, requiring very little scrubbing.
I obviously can't prove that it kills germs and bacteria like it claims, but my worktops always look spotless and thankfully my babies have never suffered any upset stomachs, so I'm assuming the surfaces are perfectly clean after using this spray.
At £2.75 a bottle, it is a little pricey, but it is a big bottle and even with daily use, I find it will last a couple of months. It's also on offer every now and again, last time I think I bought it for £1.50 in Tesco, which I think was quite a bargain.
A very good product if you don't mind the bleach smell and want to be sure your surfaces are spotlessly clean and germ free.
Domestos Bleach Spray isn't cheap at £2.75 for a 750ml bottle from Tesco, but I do think it's well worth the price tag. I've tried scrubbing down the kitchen sides with much cheaper brands over the years, and they've cost me a lot more in elbow grease than the pennies I've saved on the price tag.
This trigger spray is extremely easy to use, and I just have to turn the little red nozzle to the 'on' position for it to be ready for use. The first time I open a new bottle, I have to pump it up a bit before anything comes out (as you do with all new sprays) but there after this stuff is very good at staying ready and waiting for the next use. A squirt or two and I'm off.
This sprays quite a generous amount with one squirt, and sometimes when I start scrubbing I realise I've actually used much more than I needed to use. That's because this stuff will lather up and spready really far when mixed with water. Ideally you (okay I) have to remember to use quite small amounts of this, as a little bit goes a long way.
This stuff is super effective at getting the kitchen squeaky clean, and it's great for all over the house use. Especially the bathroom, including the floor tiles. It lifts stains off easily, even grime stains on the cooker, and it leaves everything smelling fresh and clean. It's got good antibacterial products, obviously as it's bleach, and that means that there's no need to go using any additional products with this. It cleans things in all ways necessary.
I highly recommend this stuff and don't think the cheaper brands even compare. It's extremely effective at cleaning, it's easy to use, it's very reasonably priced considering how far one small bottle goes, and it's suitable for use on most surfaces. The only exceptions are things like textiles, which of course you can't use any kind of bleach product on.
