Domestos bleach

This is one of the most common and easily recognisable bleaches on the UK market. Bleach is a household cleaning product that it used predominantly in the long running battle with germs. I have heard it argued usually in pubs that germs are a figment of the imagination that have been created by cleaning product companies in order to scare us into buying their products. Even the Domestos website admits they are invisible. I don't buy into this alternative view and regulairy buy Domestos bleach.

Where to buy?

Domestos is available in some garages and corner shops. I have even noticed it for sale in some larger chemists and can often be found on various offers. Currently a bottle of Domestos original blue will set you back around £1.00 for a 750ml bottle.

Verdict

Even though you cant see the germs there is a real sense of being in a clean house after having used this product. The makers claim that it cleans all known germs and one use in the sink makes the claim seem very reasonable. This is a good product but care must be used when using it and it should be kept out of reach of children at all times.

Summary: Cleans the house well with a bit of effort.
