Advantages: It's more practical than the version you have to dilute!

Disadvantages: It does stain clothes obviously, the bleachy smell maybe too much for some people

Sometimes our houses need a good dose of bleach ... some cleaning products just don't do the nitty gritty like they really ought too and it's good old bleach to the rescue! I won't use any old bleach though and one of my favs in my kitchen cupboard is Domestos.

In fact, up until recently, I was only ever using the usual 'pour out of a bottle' concentrated bleach.. that was until I spotted Domestos Spray Bleach in Poundstretchers for just 99p that I decided it may be a bit more practical for the nitty gritty actual cleaning jobs rather than just pouring it down the loo.

Domestos Spray Bleach comes in a 500ml navy, plastic bottle with a trigger spray up the top. The nozzle on the spray has to be turned to be able to 'release' the bleach spray and then turned to close it and secure the spray inside, making it a little safer especially if leaving in bottom cupboards for nosey toddlers to reach. The front of the bottle clearly says Domestos SPRAY bleach, multipurpose cleaner. We are told it 'kills bacteria, viruses and mould dead!

The spray bleach can be used in the bathroom, kitchen and on other washable surfaces. It is safe to use on stainless steel, enamel, ceramic, porcelain and painted wood - so quite a versatile product especially for a bleach which is surprising.

To be honest being a bleach I was a little worried it was going to discolour my kitchen sides and bathroom surfaces but it surprised me! The spray bleach sprays out as a white foam, so very visible and clear on surfaces, unless spraying on white surfaces that is. Being a bleach, it does have that powerful, chemical smell to it but not so overwhelmingly, nose hair burningly so if you know what I mean. I quite like the smell of bleach anyway, it makes me feel that my surfaces are thoroughly cleansed and properly cleaned thanks to its chemical fragrance and chlorine like scent. Not everyones cup of tea I know but I like it!

It tackles tough stains instantly allowing me to just wipe off dirt and marks comfortably. Before using this though I do have to make sure the kids aren't about as although it is easy to rinse or wipe off surfaces I don't fancy them touching surfaces and rubbing their eyes and irritating them etc with bleach left on their hands. I also wear my 'rags' .. not glad rags .. as it does stain clothes if it drips onto them. Luckily it sprays out quite finely and not all over the place so you have control over where it lands and where it drips.

It leaves a gleaming shine to my work surfaces and my bathroom and I really feel it thoroughly cleans my house in the places I need it to! The white foamy spray seems quite thick, and once being wiped it sinks into my cloth or sponge straightaway but it is easy to wipe off and actually clean surfaces with.

I'd recommend this spray if you like a good bleaching session of your house now and then as it is more practical than having to dilute and use to wash down surfaces etc just a quick spray and wipe and your done let Domestos do the work for you!
