Advantages: Great value for money, does what the bottle says
Disadvantages: Have to flush the toilet twice
Domestos Zero Limescale is an amazing product, and i have been using it since i brought it on special offer 2 for £2, that was a year ago and i am still going strong. For once in my life I don't actually mind paying the full price for something.
Domestos Zero Comes in a scary black bottle with a green lid and top at an angle so you can squeeze it around the top of the toilet with ease.
On the front there is a green sticker on the front that states:-
Domestos
Zero Lime Scale
Toilet Limescale Remover
Three Times Thicker
Grips Below the Waterline and Kills Germs.
On the back of the bottle is directions of use and tells you how the product sticks below the waterline. It also states all things that can cause you risk and where to store the product e.g.
Out of reach of children (like we all let our kids play with cleaning fluids)
Do not mix with bleach (with this product no need to anyway)
Avoid contact with skin and eyes (I will stick to my Olay)
etc.
The bottle is 750ml and costs between £1.97 - £2.67 depending on where you buy it from, this is available in all well known supermarkets e.g. Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose etc.
I give my bathroom a good clean twice a week and a bottle lasts me about 2 months as you do not need loads.
Application is very easy you run the nozzle around the rim of the toilet as the lid is on a slant and the liquid comes out which is green in colour and sticks well to the toilet walls. The liquid then seeps down into the toilet and still clings onto the toilet walls even under the water. You leave the product to work its magic for 30mins and then flush the toilet (as easy as that, and it looks like you have been scrubbing for hours). As the product sticks so well to the toilet even after you have flushed i do tend to go around with a brush to get all product of and then flush again.
I live in a hard water area and limescale can build up very quickly, but this eradicates all limescale and dirt.
Go on treat your toilet, and give this product ago.
Summary: Go on treat your toilet

- 27/05/09 Excellent review - this sounds brilliant for those who live in hard water areas - I know from when I lived in London how annoying Limescale build-up on the toilet is. |
