show zero tolerance to limescale and germs in your loo! (Domestos Zero Limescale)

Advantages: shifts stains, kills all germs and smell nicer than regular domestos Disadvantages: quite expensive This is a review of domestos zero toilet cleaner. It comes in a black plastic 750ml bottle and priced about Ã'£1.50 it can be said to be quite expensive for something you're quite literally pouring down the toilet. I used various harpic, toilet duck and domestos products, but recently i moved into a new house. Now the house looked like it ain't been cleaned for quite a while to say the least, and the loo definitely looked quite with a lot limescale build up that the germs must have thought they found a safe nookie. I'd since this product advertised on tele and immediatley thought of to get some at the supermarket. The bottle claims that the product should be left for an hour to remove limescale and kill all the germs. Squirting the liquid under the rim you immediatley notice green thick gel and citrus frangrance opposed to the usual clear domestos. I covered the loo bowl with the gel and lowered the lid and set cleaning the rest of the bathroom so the last thing i did was give the a loo a flush. I returned after about 30 mins gave it a flush and a good brushing and reapplied the gel. By now most of limescale had gone and after a couple of hours i flushed once again to find a sparkling loo, quite an achievement from its previous state and with it being domestos i could also be shaw that all the germs had been sent packing. Theres something quite reassuring i find with domestos products that all the horrible germs lurking under the toilet rim are going to be killed. Overall i think although the product is quite expensive it is very effective for a deep clean and as a regular cleaner which i used twice a week and last about a month. Summary: cleans your loo |
