I have just bought Double Velvet Toilet Tissue for the first time, mainly because it has been on offer in my local Savers at £1.87 for four rolls, plus 2 free. Until now I have always used Andrex. I'm reasonably pleased with the Double Velvet but find the start of each roll is a real pain, resulting in wasting the first few sheets and finding bits of tissue all over the floor. Andrex rolls are so much easier to start off! I had the same problem with Charmin rolls and it stopped me buying them again. The Double Velvet is a little harder than Andrex but this doesn't seem to be a problem. The product is made in the EU which means anywhere in Europe ... Read the complete review

Sorry i meant to say scented loo roll! Having gone through almost every colour you could want for you loo roll and adding aloe vera and moisturisers to keep your delicate bum happy now Velvet loo roll is available in a scented version! I threw a pack of 4 white loo rolls into the trolley at Morrisons and it was only when I opened them I realised they were scented. The scent is "white flowers" and isn't actually on the loo paper but in the core (I assume they mean the tube!) When I opened the plastic wrapper from around them the smell hit me straight away, I would like to say it was a nice surprise but I can't really. The smell ... Read the complete review

Great toilet roll that lasts for ages!! I first purchased this when it was on offer in morrisons, 6 rolls for around 1.79pounds!! Bargain!! It is quite a bit more expensive to the betterbuy toilet rolls and things alike as they tend to cost around 60p for 4. I must admit you do get what you pay for with this toilet roll. The roll is tightly packed with toilet roll and seems to last forever on your toilet roll holder. The toilet rolls come in plastic packaging which is see through allowing you to see what you are buying. The makers of this product claim that you will get 200 sheets per roll, and although I havent counted, I am pretty ... Read the complete review

There's not too many things you can say about bog roll, after all you'd think its all about the same. Well, I'm here to tell you different, as you know my little girls room is very important to me and I like to have it looking and smelling nice. Double Velvet toilet tissue is my all time favorite. I have tried the quilted versions and think that these are not as good. If you look at the roll itself you can see that on a double velvet roll the tissue is wound on tighter and that the roll is more compact, I think this gives you more tissue per roll and therefore is more economical. The quilted tissue types look thicker but are more bulkier and ... Read the complete review

Double Velvet toilet tissue used to have the name "Kleenex" on the packs. Then it was all that the makers claimed, being strong, smooth and comfortable to use. Now the name "Kleenex" has disappeared from the pack, and the quality is inferior to the average supermarket "own brand" toilet tissue. Also the quality varies from one roll to another, as if they were being made in different factories. Not to put too fine a point on it, it is so weak that your finger goes straight through it!! It is still, of course as expensive as ever. ... Read the complete review
