Advantages: good handling, easy to use

Disadvantages: bit bulky

The Dremel multi-tool has to be one of the most useful tools I own. The tool itself is about 20cm long and about 6cm wide/thick. On the end it has a holder for the attachments, like on the end of drills where you put the attachment in and then you can tighten it so the attachment is gripped and will not slip when being used. The main disadvantage of this tool though was that it has to be plugged into the wall, other brands that make similar tools are battery powered, but now this is the improved version that has a battery but it’s a little bit bigger at the end. On the good side of things though the Dremel has a lot more attachments available for it than other makes of multi tool.

The attachments come in box sets, (available in you local hardware store). The boxes are set into different job sections, i.e. one box could be a polishing set and have several circular material attachments of different grades for polishing different things, where as another box could have several different shaped engraving tools. There is a huge range of box sets for all different purposes and jobs. Over all this is a brilliant multi-tool it has been available for a wile now but its still one of the best on the market today.
