Advantages: cheap and has lots of uses

Disadvantages: harsh on hands

You can save yourself a fortune by refusing to buy many of todays fancy cleaning products. Dri-Pak Crystals are excellent for many different jobs.

They are so cheap at 89p that no one should really be without them.

So, what can these magic crystals do?

1.If you are decorating and you want to wash down walls or paintwork add a couple of heaped tablespoons to a bucket of hot water. This will remove grease build up and leave you with a clean surface to paint on.
2.Use the same mixture as for washing walls to wash down bathroom and kitchen tiles. You get a lovely gleaming shine when it dries.
3.A handful of dry crystals will break up grease in sink pipes and drains.
4. Use for washing and scrubbing garden paths and patios. It gets rid of moss and other build up on flagstones and concrete.

What not to do:

1. Don't put your hands in the solution without gloves. it is very harsh.
2. Don't wash shiney floors in the house with it. It will take the shine right off some types of flooring.
3. If using in a bathroom make sure that your bath doesn't have special cleaning instructions. Infact I wouldn't use this for any but old enamelled baths.

At 89 pence these are certainly worth buying. Keep them in your kitchen cupboard as you are sure to need them sometime, even if its just to unblock the drain, and look how much that could save you (plumbers don't come cheap!).

Good op - also great for removing tea stains from cups and teaspoons. I'm always putting them down the drains and plugholes!
