Anyway, these gloves are quite fantastic. They are like thick knitted winter gloves that come right up your arms - so both your hands and your arms are protected from burns. As they are knitted they are really flexible so no issues on holding onto pans or opening awkward pots to check the contents.

Lakeland to me is a parents shop, one of these places that I used to think was for sensible people from the country. Of late I've found myself wandering into the one in Glasgow & marveling over items that I can hear my parents marveling over; I must be getting old!! My parents have a habit of bringing me unusual gifts like flight socks when I'm not scheduled to go anywhere or brass plug sockets that my Dad will then fit for me.
