The `Duck` range concentrates on keeping the toilet free from limescale, germs and staining.
The range includes rim blocks, cistern blocks, gel cleaner, Duck magic scrubs and toilet Duck.
The Duck liquid cleaner comes in three fragrances, Fresh, Citrus and Ocean Force.
Its offers freshness and hygiene to your toilet as well as an improved limescale removal formula.
Duck will leave you toilet smelling fresh and practically germ free.
I bought my experimental toilet `Duck` on a visit to Morrison`s supermarket. I chose the citrus fragrance, it was on a promotion and it cost me around £1.35 for 750 ml.
The bottle top was quite tough to remove, a good thing because although all of these products should be stored well out of the reach of tiny fingers, it would be very hard for any child to open the bottle.
The citrus smell was good, tangy, fresh and really very appealing.
I always use my toilet cleaners last thing at night then they don't seem to get flushed away as quickly.
A good squirt under the rim left a thick lemon liquid sliding down the toilet pan. Our water is fairly soft so we don't have a big problem with limescale.
I left the Duck liquid in overnight to do its work.
The pan was clean and the citrus aroma was still there the next morning. The liquid has gone right down to the bottom of the toilet pan but there weren't any streaks left in the toilet bowl.
So considering all things the product had worked well.
But...
The bottle has that unique `Duck` shaped neck, very different and not unattractive.
But definitely frustrating when you reach the end of the bottle!
Try as you might the remaining few fluid ounces of liquid remain trapped in the spout.
You cant pump the remaining liquid upwards under the rim or downwards into the bowl.
So call me what you will, but I think Miser would be quite appropriate!
I took a sharp knife, contravening all Health and Safety regulations (Please do not do this in your own home!) and `sawed` off the top to access the remaining liquid.
Then...and not until then...was I completely satisfied.
The Toilet Duck liquid smells good, it cleans well, its competitively priced, but im afraid im not `in love` with that bottle!
So I have rekindled my relationship with Harpic, im so shallow.
But Harpic gives me its all whereas Duck holds back just that little bit!
Summary: It cleans and freshens the toilet very well.
